No Good Nick (2019)

A very hard show to watch...
16 April 2019
This is basically a Nickelodeon show featuring ex-Nick stars in Nick situations and scripting. Sean Astin, Melissa Joan Hart, and Ted McGinley are wonderful, but the rest of the cast is borderline. Honestly, the idea of the show is wonderful and would've made a great 2-hour film or more 'adult' series - but in this setting, it's hard to take it serious with all of the teen jokes and Nick-typical acting overshadowing the main plots. One standout is the son, Kalama Epstein, whose acting is superior to the rest of the teens. I will keep watching to see if it grows further, but it needs to improve greatly to match up to the adult stars.

A very unique show...

I have a very unique perspective on this show... not only am I a fan, but I was also a guest. Many times, you find an interview show and the questions are disjointed and lazy, but in this case Allyson (the host) was gracious and smart with her comments. I also like the format of the show. It feels more like a comfortable conversation in someone's living room rather than a formal interview. Recommended for all viewers.

Odd in many ways...

Warning: Spoilers
I love westerns, but even THIS one was hard to swallow. A major stars dies too early, and the plot made no sense after his death. Half the movie was in Spanish with no subtitles. The constant re-use of footage and audio was annoying. The horses were better characters than most of the actors. Sorry to see Chuck Conners and Cesar Romero involved in this.

A cute version of the series...
23 March 2003
I've seen that some people complained about the 'reality' of the show as compared to the series, but you really can't compare them. This version shows a younger Sabrina (voiced by Melissa Joan Hart's sister), 2 younger/sexier versions of her aunts (both voiced by Melissa Joan Hart), and an Uncle Quigley. Of course Salem is there, but now he's more hip and can use his magic powers. In this version, we see a younger more carefree Sabrina, in early highschool, which is geared towards a younger Disney audience. Even the 'villain' has changed. Where 'real' Sabrina fights with Libby, 'cartoon' Sabrina tussles with Gem Stone (wealthy, snobby, obnoxious). This animated series is hysterical... Salem is just as funny as the series, Sabrina gets into an all new kind of trouble, and the younger aunts are sexier and also getting into trouble. Uncle Quigley adds to the fun by trying to control the unruly witches as well. Also included, for the benefit of the younger audience, is Sabrina's friend Chloe who also knows that shes a witch... I mean, HEY, what little girl can keep a secret ?! LOL
