it's good
I have to say that this movie is good. I think that the story line and the character context is very good in this movie and it shows how characters develop their personality as the movie goes on.
In the beginning of the movie, the character Pil-je (Chang Jung Lim)was a douche-bag. I hated this character because he was like 'mr know it all'. So i really hated this character. As the movie goes on, I started to like this character a lot. The reason being is because staying in the slum, he grew a friendship with them and turns out that he's not a bad person. Making friends with the people in the slum shows what a kind person he really is. I also found this character really funny, he made me laugh out loud. (Literally)
The kids were superb actors. They really showed emotions on the screen. They even showed respect to Pil-je who was bossing them around and giving orders but they called him 'superman'.
Now I'm going to be honest. I didn't care about the whole boxing thing. About Myung-ran (Ji-won Ha) becoming the Asian champion, it really didn't matter to me. I was just concentrating and fascinated about what happened in the slums.
So overall this movie is worth watching. Recommended. 8/10

hmmm not bad.....
This movie is not bad.....
The acting was superb because little kids with that acting is very impressive. In the future, I will be looking very forward into seeing movies that cast them (Can't remember names).
But I have already seen Koizora and this movie is very similar to this one. Because it ends the same as Koizora, I wasn't really crying or anything like that and wasn't really fond of the movie.
So maybe if I haven't seen Koizora, I probably would give this movie a higher rating. But I cant help it that I compare it to movies that I have seen recently.
I cant really say much about this movie. Just see it for yourself. So overall, it's a movie worth watching. I guess it's an alright movie.
6/10

More Than I Expected
Well this movie is more than I expected because before I watched this movie, I went surfing the internet looking for reviews, and they were negative reviews about this film. When I watched it myself, I was surprised.
So to start off, the story line is very typical romance movie. Minato (Maki Horikita) loves a person called Shu (Takuya Ishida) but another person Night, doesn't want her to be with him.
Now in my point of view, this is very common and there are LOADS of movies like this one. But this movie thinks outside the box. The person causing trouble is not actually a person, but some sort of personality inside her. I think that this is very clever because it gives the story a twist and makes it interesting.
I think the acting was very good. Because Maki Horikita played 2 characters and both these personality's completely differ with each other. So she really did pull it off, from having to play a sweet, Innocent girl to a rather trouble making person.
Of course there are minor negatives like nearly half the movie was flashbacks but because I am a big fan of Naruto, I learned to be patient because as you know, Naruto has TONS of flashbacks. But if it wasn't for the flashbacks, I wouldn't have a deep understanding of why things happened in the movie.
I recommend this movie, It really is a good movie. 9/10 for me.
