Terrifier 2 (2022)

Old-school gorefest, but way too long...
23 October 2022
I read about people fainting and throwing up in the cinemas because of how gory the movie is, so I was intrigued. To be fair, it is pretty gory but I've played my fair share of Mortal Kombat and other gory video games so I was used to it, but do keep this in mind if you wanna watch this movie.

First of all I wanna say that this is not a really horror movie because it isn't scary. There are a few pretty gory kills as I've mentioned, so be prepared for that. If you have a weak stomach, skip it all together.

Every time when Art the Clown wasn't on screen I was genuinely bored of watching this movie. That's mainly because of the weak dialogue and awful acting. Art the Clown itself is funny and a blast to watch on screen. There are some genuinely funny scenes where Art the Clown is showing his funny side... before he starts killing people of course.

There are a lot of weird staring scenes, which make it very awkward. The movie itself is way too long, they could've easily left out a lot of scenes. There are also quite a few continuation errors that I've noticed and the cast is literally spilling coffee when they should be drinking it. Maybe not include that in the scene or just reshoot?

Besides a few very gory kills, it isn't really worth your time. The story is not interesting, the acting is awful, the writing is just lazy and stupid, the characters make the weirdest shock faces and even more stupid decisions.

All in all, it's meh...

It at least doesn't disappoint...
16 August 2010
First of all... This movie is good. I've been waiting for this movie for over a year, and when I heard that it would be delayed, I was upset.

But I saw the movie yesterday in a really small and really hot theater. The cast for this movie was huge, Li, Statham, Lundgren, Rourke, Willis, Schwarzenegger and Stallone himself, WOW! But too bad Willis and Schwarzenegger had so little time on the screen.

I like: *What I really liked about this movie is that there is a lot of action scenes that reminds you of the 80's. Just pure action! *The acting was absolutely superb by all stars. *The humor that is put into this movie!

I disliked: *At some scenes in the movie the camera was so close-up that I had a hard time trying to see what exactly was going on.

I did enjoy this movie a lot, but after I stepped out of the theater I was still kinda disappointed, maybe I expected too much. Definitely see this movie on the big screen. You won't regret it!

This is how it should've been in the first place!

Warning: Spoilers
Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) teaches Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) kung fu so he can enter the tournament and get 'revenge' from the kid that was bullying him from the day he moved into China. Basically the storyline of TKK.

Just watched this movie in the theater with the most lamest viewers ever. The moment that Jackie Chan showed himself on the screen, I was the only one clapping.

This is how a remake is made. It's fast, brutal and funny. The cinematography is absolutely gorgeous! The fight scenes are brutal. When Jaden gets his a** handed to him, you really feel like he's getting punched and hurt. What I thought was kind of disappointing is that Jackie Chan only had 1 fight scene that lasted for 2 minutes. And the ending... They're just happy that Jaden won... and credits start rolling. (And what you hear is Justin Bieber:P) I thought that they could at least showed what changed his life. Like Mr. Han having his own kung fu school.

The acting was superb, both Jackie and Jaden really know how to act. Taraji P. Henson (Jaden's mother in the movie) is hilarious! This is definitely a recommended for anybody, any size, any age!

Cop Out (2010)

Be sure not to walk 'out'!
13 July 2010
Warning: Spoilers
I don't get it why some people said that this movie was not funny. I thought that Tracy Morgan did an excellent job. I would love to see him more on the big screen. But Bruce Willis? Could have been better. Comedy movies just are not his type of movies. The plot of the movie is just ridiculous. Monroe (BW) is trying to get some money for his daughters wedding, he gets suspended from his job for a month without pay. So, no money, is no wedding. But he decides it is time to sell his father's Pafko baseball-card. Of course the card gets stolen, they're chasing it. Getting into more trouble. To be honest I just didn't care about the story at all. It is just fun to see how BW and TM behave to each other. Another movie for a rainy Saturday. Good but not bad either.

The Losers (I) (2010)
7/10
Mindless fun!
13 July 2010
Warning: Spoilers
The Losers are a 5 man team. They get screwed over, and then they go against their agency. So predictable. But it is a really fun movie to watch. The acting was really good, but I thought that some characters could have had a bigger role, like Cougar for example. All characters are believable, likable. There is some really good, but also bad sound and visual effects. The sounds of the guns did not seem very realistic to me, but the visual effects were absolutely amazing. The story is too predictable. the acting by some of the cast were plain right bad, like the guy that plays Max.

Keep this one for a rainy Saturday!

Training Day (2001)

Amazing movie!
4 July 2010
Warning: Spoilers
One word: Amazing! That's what this movie is. It's one of the best movies I've ever seen. It's about a cop (Ethan Hawke) trying to get into narcotic, having his training day. But soon enough, you'll see that Alonzo is not your typical good cop. He's making money on a not so legal way. He's basically a corrupt cop. The actors performances were absolutely top-notch. Directing was superb and the storyline is believable. My only complain about the movie was that some scenes were just unnecessary. They could have been left out. Definitely a recommended for anybody! Buy it on DVD as soon as you can. And, don't watch it with children around, because it can get a bit too violent at sometimes.
