The definition of a "guilty pleasure"

I know it's scripted, and Spencer should be definitely sent to a mental institution, but it's very addictive. The drama is entertaining in that trainwreck sorta way.

It reminds a bit of my life. Sure, I'm not rich, and I don't live in L.A., but there are some similarities. For example, I know lots of Spencers who pick up fights with anyone with a pulse. And I am a bit of Heidi and a bit of Lauren.

For some reason, I'm addicted. I love it so much. I know the characters are not exactly paradigms of virtue, but they're definitely entertaining. I personally think it would have a way higher rating than 3.4 if it were not advertised as a reality show.

Overall, a total guilty pleasure.

Clueless (1995)

Nice movie

There was a time when I was obsessed with this movie. I viewed this nearly everyday during vacation. In fact, my vocabulary was nearly reduced to quotes of this movie!

Today, I'm no longer that obsessed with Clueless. However, I still like it. I could describe my feelings about this movie as being like an ex you are no longer in love with, but are still friends with.

It's still a nice movie. The script was excellent, especially the jokes. That probably explains why I used to be so obsessed with this movie with the same intensity of a 10-year old Justin Bieber fan.

Overall, a nice bubblegum movie, but not for people expecting something deep and life-changing.

Here Comes the Bride (2010)

Love this movie

It appeared like a good movie judging from the trailer, and I was definitely not disappointed. It was just as good as I thought it would be.

It was not exactly highbrow humor, but I still loved it. I personally thought it was one of the funnier Filipino movies, which is saying a lot, considering that I don't really like Filipino comedies!

Body-swap movies are nothing new, but this one brought a breath of fresh air into a cliché-ridden genre. I especially loved the bride's transformation from Virgin Mary to Paris Hilton. Hilarious!

Overall, a nice silly comedy that knows what it is and does its job well. Don't expect a masterpiece, but treat it as a fun movie.

A must see!
