Roseanne is such a great show. Especially the early years. This episode is just awful. There's nothing funny about it. It just drones on and on and on. They could have done an episode like this and actually have it work. Instead they decided to do 15 minutes of aterrible musical act.

It's another sitcom episode about a dad getting a vasectomy and in the end not going through it because they decide last minute they "aren't ready." Sitcoms always treat vasectomies this way. Like a couple in their 40s with three teenage kids is just going to have another one.
The B story with Gloria, Jay and Manny is a nice touching way to deal with an unexpected pregnancy and the worries that come with it.
