The King (2019)
This story shall the good man teach his son, hopefully this movie shall be forgotten
A great disappointment for Shakespeare fans, but a greater disappointment for any one with some knowledge of history, especially of military history. There are so many mistakes, that it would take longer time to cite them here than watching the movie.
The movie succeeds in almost getting everything wrong regarding the battle of Agincourt, if they have studied the battle, then they have failed to understand the dynamics and what determined the outcome.
The story of Henry V was so full of mistakes, misunderstandings and misconceptions that most fake news of too day, seems true.
The cinematography was good, the actors were also decent, but the story was truly horrible, what a waste of potential.
Slumber Party Massacre II (1987)
Slumber Party Massacre II is terrible and and the music is even worse
Don't listen to the good reviews, Slumber Party Massacre II is terrible and not in a good way and the music is even worse.
It do not really continue from Slumber Party Massacre I, It is more like a mix of a really bad ripoff off Nightmare from Elm Street and a musical, it is not scary, it is not fun, it is not even bad in a good way, just simply awful, especially the last 20 minutes is just dragging on forever. Did I mention the music is terrible.
On the the good side, there are not that many plot holes, that would require a plot,
Monsters (2010)
Spoilers - Be warned this is a love movie and not a monster/alien movie
Spoilers - Be warned this is a love movie and not a monster/alien movie and, no, it is not working.
Already 6 minutes into the movie and the movie was already showing all the danger signs, the main characters were not working, bad acting and the dialogs were not working either. I think I was hoping that the main characters were being eaten by monsters through the whole movie, so I got a bit disappointed.
Plot was not convincing, characters was not convincing or behaving convincingly, like being in real danger and where was the aliens?
One moment we are told that the monsters will do you no harm if you leave them in peace, the next minute they are shooting at the aliens and that with ridiculous small arms that can't harm them – why?
Too many political correct messages hidden in the plot and not very subtle, is it a hippie movie or what?
They also got all the details wrong, Mexican signs in English, the location near the border geographical all wrong.
