Old (2021)
Not worth it
When I first saw the trailer for this, it was definitely something I wanted to see. But boy am I glad I didn't waste my money seeing it in theatres, because everything in this movie was a huge let down!
It's original yes, was it flawed? Extremely. Did it make any sense? Absolutely not! This was all just a study for modern medicine but where and how did the aging come into play here? You can't do a study for modern medicine while doing something that's physically impossible. Save yourself the time and find a different movie. I'm giving it 4 stars because despite all of what I just said it wasn't the worst movie I've seen.
Escape Room: Tournament of Champions (2021)
I liked it
I don't know why so many people are giving it negative reviews.. i quite liked the movie, maybe even more then the first. To each or own I guess. I wouldn't pass this one over because of the bad reviews, you may end up liking it.
Cruel Summer (2021)
Good show, horrible choice in actors
Have you ever started watching a binge-worthy show but couldn't get through it because some of the actors are so bad that you'd rather hear nails on a chalk board then watch their painfully poor performance? Well this is one of those shows! Honestly, by having a famous dad (Kevin Smith) and famous ex partner (Matt Leblanc) you would think that both Harley Quinn Smith and Andrea Anders performance wouldn't be such a train wreck.
Don't get me wrong tho, overall It's a really good show. So if you can look past the bad acting then binge away!
Into the Dark: They Come Knocking (2019)
Too many unanswered questions...
It's definitely one of the more creepy episodes so far but I'm extremely confused as to what just went on.
It's about 30 min to the end of the show that things start to really happen but the problem is that's not enough time to explain everything leaving us left with so many unanswered questions.
I understand everything that had to do with the mom, what I don't understand is everything else. Things Like who and what these "creatures" are, were they even real? why were they targeting the family in the first place? why was Maggie the one they wanted? what did the missing persons board and the person in the trailer have to do with it? How did "letting go" and dumping the moms ashes have anything to do with defeating the creatures? If anyone knows what's going on here please write a review to explain it.
Z Nation (2014)
This show is ridiculous!
From Zombie Babies to Aliens and everything in between they really did think of everything. The thing to know about this show is NOTHING makes sense and it's incredibly stupid, but that's the point. You are expecting one thing but you are refreshed with something completely different, so if you're a critic maybe choose something else, but if you're down for some ridiculous zombie nonsense then binge away!
#Saraitda (2020)
Just no.
The best part of the movie, some guy falling to his death while doing a live stream hanging out his window.
We Summon the Darkness (2019)
I tried...
This could have been way better with different actors, or maybe with these actors toning it down a trillion knotches, minus Beverly, she's slightly tolerable.
I'm not going into details about the movie cause I honestly couldn't get through it. Just know it's not worth even a thought.
Rectify (2013)
Great little show
Be warned this show is a slow burn, but if you have the attention span to handle it and you love mystery crime dramas then this is a show for you!
I See You (2019)
Hidden Amazon Gem
Can Someone please explain to me why movies like black Christmas, the grudge, underwater and fantasy island are hitting the big screen, getting the trailer promotion and profit they really don't deserve but movies like 'I see you' are hidden in the mess of crappy amazon/Netflix thrillers? For 'smart businesses' you sure do make a lot of dumb decisions..
All I'm going to say is stop reading the reviews and go watch this movie! I wasn't expecting much going into it, but this movie blew me away!
Bloodline (2015)
** Wink, Wink **
I know why the show was cancelled but I think someone should take this as a business opportunity and bring it back... many shows are set in 1 area and filmed in another, so why not let the Rayburn families story go on!
The Kissing Booth (2018)
The excessive drama is annoying
Horrible show, bad script, bad acting and WAYYY too much drama.. It said it's a "teen drama" but even that should have its limits..
Hesperia (2019)
Fake Reviews
Are most reviewers here paid to write amazing reviews on bad movies? Cause I don't know how anyone could think this movie was worth the watch.
Low budget - yes
Horrible script - yes
Bad acting - yes
Slow burn - yes
Am I writing this review while watching it? YES
What did I miss? Kids complaining about not having their cell phone because they were told they would get an Xbox.
I Spit on Your Grave (2010)
Not really a review but a Warning
If you're reading this review then you probably already have an idea of what will happen at the beginning of this movie. And so I'm here to warn you If youve ever been sexually assaulted, the scene Is graphic enough to bring back the PTSD you worked hard to get rid of... so I suggest either watching it with someone who can help calm you down, skipping over the scene itself, or don't watch it at all.
Don't get me wrong Even for a low budget movie Its still a good one it's just really hard to watch...
Head Count (2018)
I tried to give it a chance.
Okay... sooo was it a demon? An angry spirit? An alien? Cause I saw a bug... more specifically a fly...
the whole movie didn't make sense, and what's with Camielle Twitching and Jaw rocking like a crack head?
Good job Netflix! You increase our monthly subscription price and all we get is more craptastic shows...
No Escape (2015)
Intense
Pierce Brosnan is one bad ass MF in this! Definitely worth the watch!
Us (2019)
Pay attention to everything!
I feel like the bad reviews are from people that didn't really understand the movie or the idea behind it... I didn't get it either so I watched a bunch of videos and I highly recommend you do the same... it's not bad you just have to be open minded to the idea
Project Mc² (2015)
My Daughter makes me watch this
I'm giving it a 5 because my child for some reason loves this show. Sure it's got a cute concept but the script is horrible, it's a lot of really bad acting, and the girls are super annoying. On the plus it does have some good looking people on the show so bonus for that I guess.
Gehenna: Where Death Lives (2016)
.....
To each their own I guess... I lost interest pretty quick even tho I stuck it out to the end. It had so much potential but needed better actors and more of a budget.
Searching (2018)
Not action packed but still worth it!
If you're expecting action then this isn't for you but if youre looking for a movie that will keep you guessing until the end then press play now!
I had an idea of what was going on from the beginning but I wasn't expecting how it all unravelled... I'll leave it there and let you find out for yourselves!
The Grinch (2018)
Ralph saved the day
It was so boring that we decided to see Ralph breaks the internet right after so the trip to the theatre wasn't a huge waste of our day...
14 Cameras (2018)
Horrible!
As soon as the thought to change it popped into my head I should have listened....
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018)
Netflix Wins Everything....
Netflix: Ruing your childhood 1 character at a time 😂
If you liked the original Sabrina you'll love this one
The Haunting of Hill House (2018)
Familiar
I'm not quite sure how I feel about this show yet, I mean it's good but it seems like a TV version of the 1999 film 'the haunting'. You have Nell, Luke, Theo, Hugh Crain, and Mr.Dudley, a haunted mansion, the lion handles (lion in the flue) and so many more similarities... oh let's not forget Shirley, she may not have been in the first movie but Shirley Jackson is the author of the haunting novel published in 1953... if the show is supposed to be a series based off the movie then why make the characters siblings instead of strangers doing a sleep study in a mansion like the original?
I know I liked the movie so I'm going to give the show a chance. I'll check back in when I've watched it all!
The Babadook (2014)
Different
This movie definitely isn't for everyone, if you like the pop out horror then this is not for you, however if you like psychological thrillers then this movie is right up your alley! I have read a lot of the reviews on here, good and bad, all the bad ones were because people didn't understand the movie. After you watch it, take a moment to think about what's really going on, if you have to do some research, everything that happened is explained in the movie, it's just not obvious.
I did like the movie, it was interesting, a bit too slow, and they could have showed the babadook more (one of the scariest faces I have ever seen) for being a low budget film it was worth the watch. The child's actions through the beginning of the movie were a bit to much, but I'm sure any child would act out like that with people saying the things that were said to him. I have to admit for a 6 year old he's pretty smart!
Don't let a bad review stop you from watching this, decide for yourself, but make sure you pay attention to even the smallest details.
