Just didn't work!

I wanted so badly to love this movie especially because it featured PC, AWW & TH - I have enjoyed them in countless Christmas movies over the years. Unfortunately for me, this movie fell flat... really flat. I found myself tuning out quite frequently but I wanted to hold on until the end. I'm glad I recorded it, if I hadn't, I probably would've walked away. I didn't care for the story line in the least, I'm so sorry PC & KS, I know the both of you wrote the script which is why I kept hesitating to leave a lackluster review, I hope you continue to write and I look forward to seeing your next project!

I Really Enjoyed!

I really liked this movie and even though I could see exactly how it would end, I enjoyed the road getting there. The two main leads are definitely both seasoned actors and I thought their chemistry sparkled. The plot "save the farm" is a bit overdone but it is a Christmas flick after all.... I do not have an Instagram account so I don't follow the actors in their private lives but I instantly knew JW either just had a baby or was pregnant during filming, turns out she had her first child in 2020 and I think she was pregnant in this movie, congratulations! I'm glad CM & JW among others switched networks, I look forward to seeing them!

I will keep my review short and sweet, I enjoyed this Christmas movie probably the most I've enjoyed any other over the last 10 years!! Every once in a while Hallmark throws in an unsuspecting gem. I had no expectations for this movie as I do any other because in my humble opinion, Hallmark has become so drab and formulaic but to my surprise, The Royal Nanny proved to be fun, charming, just a little suspenseful and downright likable! I found I wasn't rolling my eyes, yawning or talking to myself out loud saying "oh please, give me a break" To all involved in this adorable movie I say, well done and thank you!

Wow wow wow, this is one of the worst movies I think I've ever watched. The script was horrible, the actors... overacted!! I'm sure they're very nice in true life and I take no joy in writing a bad review, what I'd really like to know is what on earth were the writers of this mess thinking. The male lead in a dress was a huge flop, that particular scene was a train wreck. The ex girlfriend intentionally trying to keep her man because of her father's plot to build a mall or something didn't work AT ALL.. she completely overacted each and every scene she was in. I kept thinking, is this supposed to be funny or is it supposed to be real. Nothing at all worked in this movie, the female lead's boss was not believable, unprofessional in his approach (I know this was the script) but honestly, I cannot believe this movie was ever made. The blue moon ball had about 8 people there... I could go on and on but I will stop here and again say... the blue moon ball was a total bomb.

I'm not sure why there's so many bad reviews, it's Hallmark after all, it's supposed to be a bit predictable. I thought EK & TH had great chemistry in this movie even better than Lacey & Bethany! Again, it was predictable but it was all the chemistry leading up to the end that made this worth the watch! I say kudos to the actors, I truly enjoyed this one!

I never saw this movie before because quite frankly I wasn't interested in seeing a movie about a prostitute but I decided to see for myself why this movie got so many rave reviews.... I'm baffled! Julie Roberts role as the sweet, kind hearted, oh I really don't want to be a hooker but a girl needs to eat role was absolutely ridiculous and sooooo silly. How about working a real job like the rest of us? I know the answer ... because screwing men for money is much more fun 🙄 Richard Gere the wealthy weirdo can't get a woman the right way? This dopey movie was so stupid, my only takeaway from it is I feel the need to go put some bubble gum in my mouth and chew like a darn cow!

Homemade Christmas (2020 TV Movie)

I thought this Christmas movie was adorable! I found the main actors to have good chemistry together plus I enjoyed the supporting cast as well. I also enjoyed seeing REAL crisp air as this was filmed in Canada during a colder climate... typically Christmas movies are filmed in the spring or summer and you can tell because the sun is shining bright and of course all the fake snow! I see this flick didn't get rave reviews but as for me, I found it refreshing- well done to the cast and crew!

While I've usually enjoy period type movies, this particular one did not impress me. Too much gore, blood and guts and did the sun ever shine back then? The sets were all so gray and dreary. I found Ben A laughable in his role as well as Matt D. The actress who played the woman accused of falsifying a rape was very good. The duel at the end was so far fetched, I'm pretty sure after the beating they both took, they BOTH would've died!

Yes I know it's Hallmark but I also know they are capable of putting out some really awesome Christmas movies like "Five More Minutes"... In this particular movie, I found the mom & dad to be so goofy and annoying, it made it hard for me to truly enjoy the movie. I always love TH & BJL but in my opinion, they didn't click. Sadly, this is one I would not rate as a favorite. Sorry Hallmark, just didn't enjoy all the goofiness and hyper activity- very silly.

Hallmark comes through with a beautifully written movie! I've been a fan of DHJ ever since I saw him in Dear Santa and I enjoy ND as well. Her acting is refreshingly authentic, she was so believable in this role. The movie reminds us just how precious life is and how truly wonderful it is to experience a deeply profound love. Spend quality time with family and friends, cherish those who are nearest and dearest to your heart! Well done to the cast and crew and Scotty McCreery's "Five More Minutes"

I tuned in to this movie 25 minutes late and I thought the female lead was portraying AW's half sister! I needed to check their bio's and turns out, she is 10 years his junior and then I completely lost interest. I tried to hang on for another 1/2 hour but for me, this was not appealing. In addition, I find it so odd as the family was saying grace before a meal, the dad ended the prayer in a very strange way... if the writers are going to make it appear the family is praying because they are thankful, then follow through and keep it authentic.... after all ....the world celebrates Christmas because of the birth of Jesus. Another holiday season and another waste of the very talented AW. I just didn't see any chemistry between leads.

Poor Story Development

I think both lead actors are very talented and have enjoyed them on Hallmark over the years but this particular movie tried to have a secondary plot line with the best friend and her fiancé and even a third one with the fiancé's future mother-in-law. To me, it was all over the place and the leads never really got to develop a true bond. The "mystery card" in my opinion was a bit silly and the writers made it out to be so monumental. I didn't feel any true chemistry between BE & AS but I think it was because they didn't share all that much screen time together. I did however enjoy the decorations, the lights and ambiance overall. I had higher hopes for this movie but sadly for me, it fell flat.

I will spare you the laughable details.. this movie sucked BIG TIME! Probably the WORST I've ever seen. It was so bad even my parakeet told me it sucked. The other reviews (most of them are spot on) Don't waste your money!

I'm not quite sure what people are raving about, this movie was awful. Such a silly storyline, "oh so busy wedding planner" must travel to Alaska to pick up special flowers 🙄. We are supposed to believe it had just snowed up to 24" yet the roads were clear, the trees were green, no one looks or acts cold at all! There was no Christmas feeling to this silly movie. Horrible acting on every single character, not one performance stood out. Hallmark, your movies become less likable with each passing year.

I enjoyed the movie and yes people.....I know it's Hallmark (I do in fact luv Hallmark) but it offered very little in originality. Struggling restaurant/village, someone who should've been given a promotion was overlooked, handsome "single" guy who happens to be an architect but does handyman stuff and beautiful chalet left to niece by her uncle whom she hadn't seen in years because she was too busy working. I wish Hallmark didn't use the such similar scripts over and over again while only changing the leads. And what's with the kiss, why does it have to always happen in the very last scene, does Hallmark think we're going to change the channel or something. Cmon HM, you've got to do better than this. I rated it a 7 for the gorgeous scenic views in Canada, and of course TH is a very good actor and so is LC, I thought they had decent chemistry.

This movie was absolutely horrible!! The background music was the WORST I've ever heard, why oh why would you think that "disturbingly awful" music would be pleasing to our ears, my poor ears - OUCH -!! As far as the leads, I've always enjoyed RD & EK but this movie was unappealing on so many levels. I believe another reviewer stated this movie must've been made on a shoestring budget - I say more like dental floss budget. EK, I just need to say WHY, why on earth did you mess with your gorgeous face?!! I have followed your career and I'm so surprised no one else has noticed but your eyes now look like everyone else's in Hollywood. I was comparing you in Mrs. Miracle and Christmas Lodge and you looked stunning so when I happened to come across New Year's kiss, I thought I'd watch. You look completely different, puffy cheeks, and like I said, you've done something to your eyes. I understand the pressures of Hollywood but Erin, why fix something that wasn't broken. I had to turn the movie off between the over the top music and Erins new face, it was very disappointing. I cannot believe no one else has noticed this. I love her acting but her facial expressions in this movie were so distracting, I'm sorry Erin, I'm a big fan but you had a gorgeous face especially your eyes, I wish you would stop whatever it is you are doing before it's too late and you look nothing like the EK we've all come to know and love.

I absolutely adore this movie for the meaning is very deep and important. Even though Christians are constantly persecuted, do not repay evil with evil!! It's a good thing to practice even if you're not a Christian. I love the cast, the setting (absolutely beautiful) and the entire premise of the movie! Well done cast & crew.

Sugar, Spice & Everything Nice

I tend to miss most of Lifetime's Christmas movies because I'm too focused on Hallmark but lately HM has had some very strange actors and actresses - not TV appealing to me. After Christmas when the weather gets colder, I typically go to Amazon and search out my favorite actors and see what I may have missed. I came upon this movie from 2018 with RB & AW, I love both but any chance I get to see AW, I'm in lol. I did enjoy seeing 3 other actors not including AW who all starred together in Snowed-Inn Christmas which was a very nice surprise for me! As far as this movie goes, I liked it but it definitely seemed rushed, not enough time spent on main leads and the development of their characters, it was like boom, handsome man swoops in to take the entire town away and it's people and bam, lets put up a big beautiful destination ski resort. Despite it all, because I'm a sucker for Christmas movies and for RB & AW, it was a hit with me 😊

I was a bit skeptical about this movie especially after seeing the same leads in Snowed-Inn (which I loved so much I bought the movie) but because I'm a huge fan of Andrew Walker, I had to watch! I loved it from the very start. BJL & AW have amazing chemistry. I do agree with the other reviews, any time Hallmark casts AW, they are truly lucky, he in my opinion is the strongest male lead in their line up, his acting seems to come so easy, he's light, refreshing and of course it doesn't hurt..... he's a handsome one! I do also enjoy BJL, she's very good as well but together, they're exceptional. Well done Hallmark, I'll take more AW & BJL anytime 😊

Wholesome picturesque drama! LOVE

A very big shout out to the entire cast & crew, I've been hooked since the first season. I love how I've had the opportunity to watch each character grow older. So many reviews have been negative, people complaining about the "whiny" characters... it's a drama for Pete's sake, would you rather watch rape, cussing and violence because that's what holly provides. No, not this show, it's unique, it's breathtakingly beautiful and I simply adore it. Each character brings a different chemistry to the table. Heck, I'm 55 and I enjoyed the undeniable passion between Lou & Mitch! I also enjoyed Georgie, she's too stinkin adorable. Jack as the head of house is always strong and endearing. Amy & Ty, I love them both and the little baby who plays their child is so cute! Oh and the music ROCKS!! please please writers and producers, keep making this show, it's incredible, I just wrapped up season 11 and now I have to wait perhaps until August 2020 for season 12 to become available here in the states. {Sigh}

I know most people who left reviews were really disappointed in this movie. Was it over the top sugar, spice and everything nice- SURE for the most part but it worked for me. I truly enjoy Kimberly Sustad and as other reviewers stated, she is SO UNDER-USED at Hallmark! She's a fantastic actress, can easily show a range of emotions, I really hope Hallmark LISTENS to its viewers... we want more KS please! I do enjoy EK as well but KS made this movie very watchable. I have always liked LM but wow, I had no clue he was gay, I just have to say, I can no longer look at him the same way, as a very handsome, sexy male 😞... yes he's so easy on the eyes but I will have a hard time now when he's cast again as lead male, and please, I have nothing against LGBTQ community but not a straight male paired with a woman when we know he's gay, ruins it for me. I wish I didn't read the other reviews because I never would've known his sexual preference. Getting back to the movie, I DID enjoy it.

This was by far the best Christmas movie of 2019. The story line was suspenseful and believable. The leads had perfect chemistry together. I know of AS, but I'm not sure who her counterpart was but I thought he was terrific. Kudos to the little boy who played the son, he was fantastic!! Hallmark, I sure hope you use him more. I'm also not familiar with the woman who played the mom, but I loved her as well and the dad, I've seen him in a few Christmas movies and have always enjoyed his work plus he has a great voice! Well done on this one, AS shines in this role, very good acting chops here.

I thought this movie was really cute. I also thought the chemistry between leads was spot on ... sure it was corny and sappy but it worked! I've always enjoyed Lindy ever since I saw her in Christmas Magic, however in that movie - I didn't care at all for the male lead who was cast with her, I may be mistaken, but I think he's a lot older than she is. Anyway, for me, this movie was cute and held my attention! Well done to all the actors, cast and crew!

I'm not really sure where to start but I will start by saying - this movie was awful!! Absolutely ZERO chemistry between main leads, I've never seen the male lead and I have no clue who he is. I know who RLC is - I've always enjoyed her performances but not this one... she appeared stiff!! This movie was so hard to watch but I continued on so I could write a review about the entire movie, not just half. I'm thinking RLC had some work done which is fine but it's a little distracting when the only thing moving is her mouth. I will not give any additional details but in my opinion, oh boy did this movie disappoint.

Well done to all the actors especially the first four listed under the movie title (on a completely different topic, IMDB should've also included a thumbs down to the actors we do not follow or care for since they decided to take down the message boards and we all know it was politically motivated). Ok back to movie, the main leads were perfect together, she's so adorable and male lead was so handsome. The little boy was cute as a button and I thought he did a great job. The actor who played the grandmother, I remember her from another Christmas movie where she's the matriarch of a very wealthy family, I loved her in that movie and I loved her in this one too. Again I say, well done to all involved in this project- it's just a shame Hallmark can't shoot all of the Christmas movies in an actual cold climate, I must say I'm so sick of fake snow! Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed this particular movie!!!
