Pumpkin (2002)

You Can't Turn Pumpkins into Carriages

The movie can't seem to decide whether it is a Comedy, a Romance, or one of those Life Altering Deep Drama type movies. It would be fine if it was all those things together at the same time, but throughout the movie it seems to change between. There are a few parts that will really make you laugh that is true, but the story mainly focuses on the romantic relationship between Caroline and Pumpkin. The romance in this movie is... well there is none. Caroline falls in love with Pumpkin through a montage. Then spends the next couple of scenes trying to admit to herself that she loves him, then the rest of the movie is this undertone of how Mentally Handicap people are people too.

In the End I find the movie did not make any kind of impact on me negative or positive

Bottom line: If you want to watch it, watch it, but you're not missing anything.

Terrible Just Terrible

I picked this up on VHS at the Salvation Army I was excited because it was a 70's film and obviously by the title it was some Hell's Angels knock off film, so hell how could it be bad.

Bikers doing bad stuff, fist fights!

There is one fist fight and it's so dark on the VHS you can't see anything, in fact half the movie is that way.

The Movie is garbage

A guy even gets stabbed with a plastic hatchet!

Don't Watch this, even if you want to see it for nostalgia value it's really not worth it

The only good scene in the damn movie is when this black guy is walking through the desert and he comes upon a couple on a dune buggy, and the black asks him for some gas then the guy continues to say hey I ain't welfare so then the guy offers him his girlfriend to some jungle lovin in which the black guy turns down FOR SOME REASON!?!?!?!? AND THIS WAS NOT A MIRAGE

Vietnam Vets Flashbacks Emotional Real Performances

This is a movie I picked up downstate on VHS for about $2.25 It's worth every penny.

The movie takes place after the war over viewing one Vietnam Vet who hasn't yet faced his suppressed memories

1. It's Realistic The actors are just great I mean they really deliver emotional performances The whole movie is very entertaining as it just feels like your watching a home movie, the characters seem real its like actually watching someones everyday life. It's smooth and it just flows.

Near the end there are some very emotional performances that are just tops. They will bring a tear to your eye.

2nd and Most importantly Don Johnson's Mustache is just great, oh man... It's epic, it just cries 1970

The First Half Is Fine, Then Welcome To Boring UNREALISTIC Crap

1. First Off! If your looking to watch a movie that is true to the Vietnam War Don't WATCH THIS

2. Second Let Me Tell You Why You Shouldn't Watch It. SPOILER ALERT THE WOMAN IN THE STORY GOES OUT ON AMBUSH WITH THE GREEN BERETS AND SHE LIKES IT SO THEN SHE PAINTS HER FACE UP THROWS HER SHOES AWAY AND GOES AND PLAYS COMMANDO IN THE JUNGLE. A woman spending months alone living in the wilderness was something that worked for I Spit On Your Grave, but for this movie that is trying to be REALISTIC, it's just completely unbelievable, and a woman no less. I may be a little sexist, but I believe there are things men should do and there are things women should do, there are things men can believably do and there are things women typically do not do.

3. Your Viewing Experience The movie is actually good until a little over half way through after that it becomes boring, and it's pointless to watch.

4. Reasons to watch this movie If you are a woman maybe you could enjoy this movie If you are a man and you think it would be hot to see this chick become a soldier OTHER THAN THAT Don't WATCH THIS MOVIE

Stiletto (II) (2008)

Its okay

I'm gonna sum this up so you can easily decide if you want to watch it

1st Cinematography is bad. Sometimes it looks like a home movie. But it doesn't destroy the movie

2nd Story is crap. This woman goes on a revenge killing spree because of what happened to her sister. But its so poorly put in that it just doesn't seem to fit, and you just don't feel the emotion. The story tries to twist at the end I guess but it fails.

3rd The ending is just stupid.

4th This is whats good. Well... there are a couple of ass shots. There is some tension between the characters of the gangs which pretty much holds the movie together. The action sequences are pretty good.

The thing is, it's a movie you can enjoy, but you aren't going to completely enjoy it in the end, and your not going to want to watch it again.
