Selling Sunset (2019)
Just awful
This seems like a bunch of Big Brother (the ex-Pornstar Edition) rejects, living their absurd life far from reality, randomly thrown together and a lot of drama mixed in. You would have to search wide and far, to find more vacuous people than this group of Ken and Barbie dolls. Then again, most other "reality" shows of this genre, is usually populated by the same type of toxic, superficial stereotypes. Watching this show might actually kill your brain cells. You will without doubt feel your mind going numb by the endless, invented drama.
I can only recommend this if you are the kind of person who subscribe to the bimbo lifestyle fetish, which most of the main characters fall under.
House M.D.: Broken (2009)
Psychiatric hospital from 1870?
This is such a cliché and frankly not good writing. Mayfield is s jail, a place that offers no help and the whole revoking the medical license is nonsense. After seasons of vicodin stick, the 20 doctors game show and boring medical stories, this might be the end.
This show has not aged well. It might have been novel 10 years ago, but now it just seems unrealistic, annoyingly incorrect and with a storyline that goes nowhere.
This episode in particular might tip you over and stop you watching, I know it did it for me. With the shear amount of shows available today 'investing' time in 2, 3 or 4 seasons is a lot. More so if the first couple of seasons of House were just ok, with a promise it would get better.
White Elephant (2020)
Cute indie high school rom-com of sorts
Basically what the headline says. If you like quirky characters, coming of age high school focused stories, you'll probably like this one. Ignore the other review, there is nothing "anti white male" about this. Just don't expect "American Pie" frat-brats high fiving each other after lame puns.
Double Whammy (2001)
Boring, all-over-the-place script, poor performance from Leary
I am a big fan of Liz Hurley and not at all a fan of D. Leary. That being said, I didn't expect much from this movie, and I didn't get much. The story is all over the place, with sub plots that has little meaning to the main plot. The lack of quality in the writing affects all the main characters, which means only Hurley, Buscemi and Luis Gúzman pass the grade.
We got drama, crime, romance, and comedy. As for the romance, Leary is far from likable, and the relationship with his chiropractor is just not romantic nor credible. Apart from the aspiring film writing neighbors played by Donald Faison and Keith Nobbs, there is nothing funny at all in this movie.
See this movie if you want to see the always beautiful Liz Hurley. Otherwise stay away. Leary should stick to stand-up, but I guess he ran out of Bill hicks routines to recycle.
