Sahara (2005)
A Great Movie
This movie needs a little more publicity then it has. It has some brilliant shots, top-notch CG, and great actors. It's exciting, funny, and has a great story. It's based on a book by Clive Clusser, though from what I hear, they changed quite a bit (might be a let down for fans of the book)
The only downfall for me was the swearing. In my opinion, the film should be rated PG-13 for language, not violence. There wasn't much blood. Lots of killing, but nothing graphic. And there were a few scary parts (for younger kids, anyway).
But all in all, this movie is very likable. I recommend it to anyone who likes action movies with some humor thrown in.
The Candy Shop (2010)
This film deserves 10/10
This film, The Candy Shop, is without a doubt a 10/10 film. It talks about child exploitation without diving into disturbing details. The story is touching, and impacting.
The film has a brilliant cinematic look to it. The CG is top-notch and the acting was equally good. This film has no flaws. It has the look of a Hollywood film.
It's great to see people raising awareness to slavery. It needs to be done, and these good people have done an incredible job. This film deserves a LOT more attention. Slavery is happening under our very noses and we don't even see it; films like this help raise awareness.
God bless the filmmakers!
