X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)
Even worse than X-Men 3, despite a few decent scenes
I just recently saw this, and was very disappointed. Since I won't post spoilers, I'll make this short.
There are only a few decent scenes, and the performances from Jackman and Schrieber are decent enough, but that can't fix the film's problems.
Bad pacing. Bad writing. Terrible action and overly CG FX. Characters appearing from nowhere (all of Stryker's team) with little to no characterization. An overly invincible Logan/Jimmy before he has the adamantium, which seems a bit unrealistic for his character at that point. Too little screen time for both Logan/Jimmy/Wolverine and Victor. Bland music and mostly bland cinematography minus one scene of a waterfall.
No tension and bad to average editing. Also, how Wade turns out is silly IMO, and there's a twist at the end that wasn't pulled off well.
The acting from Huston as Stryker is one of the weaker performances in the movie, and they should have had Cox return.
There's only ONE pretty good scene in the movie that happens in the middle of the movie, but on a whole, 85% of the movie is AWFUL, with 15% being just average. Also, the final version is only 1hr 47mns which felt very rushed.

Freddy vs. Jason (2003)
What a pathetic movie this is
Wow, where can I begin. As a slight fan of the NOESs and Friday the 13ths, and as someone with an appreciation for Horror (some old school) and suspense, I was utterly disappointed with this movie. I was hoping for a suspenseful, scary, well shot, well directed, decently acted (I know) movie with some actual thrills, but was not given that. Right off the bat I knew this movie would suck when the title appeared with the bad cgi and crappy metal music. The acting sucked from most, but it was almost as if nobody took this movie seriously, and instead tried to act as corny as possible. The writing also sucked, despite the overall story being pretty decent, and there was NO suspense or anything very thrilling in what should have been a thilling experience. The cinematography was very lackluster IMO, the Elm Street house was NOT the Elm Street house, and the music was crap! Also, where was the intensity with the death scenes??? There wasn't any. The gore was decent in some scenes, but ultimately overkill in a comical way, especially during the end. Freddy sucked in this movie (where was the Fredster from the first three, and New Nightmare?). Englund hammed it up too much in parts, and his makeup looked to fake as well. Jason looked OK, but he was boring and his kills(most) sucked IMO. I can see how this would be a thrilling ride for someone who hasn't seen many good horror movies, but even some of the Friday the 13th movies had better thrills than this. Ronny Yu and most everyone involved in the making was a poor choice, but New Line is happy because it made good money, regardless of whether or not it is a decent movie. Too bad
The Peanut Butter Solution (1985)
Weird stuff!
I too, saw this movie when I was very young(seven), and I remember getting quite scared by it. The funny thing is that at seven years old, I was very much into action/sci fi movies, and I had just recently watched my first Horror movie, A Nightmare On Elm Street 3, which I thought was great. The only other Horror movie I had seen at the time was 'The Gate', which I thought was kind of creepy. One day after walking through the video store, I came across 'The Peanut Butter Solution', and it looked so strange, that I decided to rent it. I watched it later that night and it scared the hell out of me! I understood that it was only a movie, but at the same time, I was worried that I would wake up bald. I actually slept with one hand on my head for a long time after watching it. I'm 21 now, and last year my sister and I decided to watch it again, but it was so bad that we turned it off. We're big movie fans, and the dialogue was too bad to handle, at least on that particular day. It's not a good movie by any means, but it's definitely worth viewing, especially if you want to see something weird and creepy.
