Johnny Lingo (1969)
How to apply the golden rule in personal relationships
Beyond the tremendous and true romantic love Johnny Lingo proves for his dear Mahana, he gives a tremendous object lesson in how to properly treat others, and bring out the very best in them. If all husbands would treat their wives the way Johnny treated Mahana, there could be no evil in the world.
Just Visiting (2001)
Very funny trip to the future by a royal ancestor
You have to watch this one at least twice or more. Some of the humor will escape you the first time. Some of it is almost slapstick, but it gives a very humorous view of some of the culture clashes and learning experiences that could occur if an ancestor from very far back were to accidentally be transferred to our modern times. It is actually very entertaining, and I would highly recommend it. Even children over the age of 10 or so might enjoy it (it mostly pretty unoffensive, but a little gross in some parts), but some of the humor might go over the heads of younger ones (that might actually be good, however).
Uncle Ben (1978)
Even the worst of problems can be overcome with help from a higher power.
The presentation is done in a very touching way. It does not at all minimize the sacrifice needed to overcome an addiction. But it does give hope that rewards can come from refocusing your life, and submitting to a power higher than yourself.
