Crap, crap CRAP!
2 July 2011
Warning: Spoilers
I just saw this movie for free on Film 4 after seeing the title on a Saturday afternoon and with sun in the sky. I thought, ' Hey another Dumb and Dumber film, I'll stay in and watch it!'

Well, the fact is the movie is still playing as I write this and I never turn off from a movie. I studied film studies at college, and if a film gets bad I think about how they filmed it while still watching it.

To be blunt, I can't even do that with this movie.

1 star... read the other reviews. The 5 star one was obviously fake and planted. Take note of every review on here except that one, avoid this movie. Do not even mention this movie to friends because they will out cast you because of it.

Unfunny, uninspired and UN worthy of even watching once!

Celebrity Juice (2008–2022)

Leigh Francis let loose in a quiz show environment
26 June 2011
Warning: Spoilers
When I first heard Keith Lemon was going to be hosting this show I was a little bit nervous, as he has appeared on Bo Selecta and A Bear's Tail and there was nothing really good about the character, and he was a bit bland and softly spoken.

However, for this show the character has developed to be a lot more crazy and rude than ever before, and it works.

Some jokes win and some weeks it is really funny, other weeks it can be a bit boring depending on what guests there are on it.

The show is your typical quiz show, but where Celebrity Juice wins is that it's not censored, rude and damn right funny.

An OK movie with an unclear ending
5 June 2011
Warning: Spoilers
A good gritty movie full of scenes of violence and corrupt cops who get what they deserve. All in all it is a good movie if you are a fan of corruption, gore and good guys winning over evil ass hole type guys who are so stero-typed in this movie, you know it has to be good!

A family of policemen spanning all generations find out that one of their brothers is involved in corrupt policing, killing people, stealing drugs and killing peoples families. It all goes well and he gets away with it at first, until one of the other corrupt police officers kills himself after snitching. The two brothers argue and While one tries to frame the other, bad things happen.

Not an original plot, but the movie does have an original refreshing take on things, although I would have liked the babies face to have been melted with the iron, rather than pulling away at the last moment.

The film is good and watchable until the end where it seems to have four endings one after the other which confuses you as to what the actual outcome of the story was. Other than that, a great film with some awesome scenes of violence and a storyline that keeps you guessing.

Terrible episode of a worthwhile series
16 May 2011
This is not the Family Guy we fell in love with. Every other episode in this season is fine, they have gone back to plot lines instead of random gags, that is also fine, but this episode fails on so many levels.

It's hard to believe one of Family Guy's long established writers wrote this episode. The plot is boring and predictable and there is too much violence in the evil stewie scenes to even class this as comedy.

The jokes are dark, sinister and twisted. There is not one funny moment in this episode. I would of thought after the great murder mystery episode, ( And Then There Were Fewer,) they would have stepped up the quality of the episodes that followed , but I was wrong. From this episode I can tell they just cant be assed writing the great scripts they once created anymore.

It's a shame to see the creative streak go so high then so low in just a few episodes of the same season. Every other episode in this season is well crafted and great, this is just trash. Don't waste your time with this one.

American Dad!: Tearjerker (2008)
Season 3, Episode 10

American Dad's most outrageous episode ever!
15 May 2011
You have got to hand it to the American Dad writers, they pretty much tired out every possible C.I.A storyline and political joke they could think of in the first three seasons, so it's nice to know they can do a decent spy spoof which does not feel out of place with the rest of the show.

* SPOILERS * The cast is the normal American Dad cast, but they all have James Bond style roles. The episode in it's self is a James Bond spoof, with the hero agent ( Stan Smith,) The woman who throws herself at him, (Francine- a.k.a Sexpun decum.) The evil villain, (Roger- a.k.a tear jerker) and Steve has a role as Q, who makes inventions for agent Stan.

The episode has a typical James Bond set up, Tearjerker is trying to take over the world from his secret lair and it's up to Stan to stop him. On the face of it, this does not sound very watch worthy, but soon the Austin Powers type humor begins to creep in and it is a laugh a minute.

The jokes never seem to stop failing in this episode, and never seem to be overdone or tired. The pacing is just right, and the spoofs of James Bond scenes are priceless. The falling down lair of Tearjerker makes you giggle, as you remember just how pathetic the original movies they are spoofing are.

In the end Stan wins, but it leaves us with a shot of Tearjerker possibly climbing out of the volcano which he was thrown into, so I hope there are more Tearjerker episodes to come, because it's more entertaining and miles more funny that a golden turd storyline.

Whatever happened to that storyline by the way?
