Crime Patrol (II) (2003– )
8/10
Gripping - Breathtaking - Mindblowing

Crime Patrol is a fabulous show, bringing forward the various crime cases occurred in India. The direction of every episode is great. Most episodes have such a gripping suspense & storyline, that it is just too difficult to change the channel, unless the episode's a repeat, or not being followed from the start. And the fact that they are based on true events heightens the likeness even more. Photography and filmography is very good. Also is the editing : mostly warm, just in tune with the building intensity. Music is also very good. But the mastering isn't up to the mark : sometimes the dialogues are not so audible or distinguishable, as the background music is too loud. Though the acting of the cast members is brilliant, the later need to be increased. The cast base is too limited. The main actors repeat often, and this a let-down, as one anticipates the future actions of a particular character based on their personal view of the actor involved. I usually break up in tears during the show, watching the pitiable conditions of the victim. And the foolishness or childishness of the crime sometimes, just infuriates me further : the act of crime is too horrible. The show makes my respect grow towards the Indian Police Department. Their dedication and the intense work towards solving each case is commendable indeed. Also, the judicial system gives fair justice in most cases. But in others I feel it unable to make correct judgements (I am studying law currently). It fails to gather or use the gathered evidence to its potential. All in all, I rate the show 8/10 (very good), as it is based on true happenings, but needs to quit repetitions (of cast and episodes). Also, if it would reveal the true identity of those involved in all the episodes, it would garner more points. In the end, continue the great work team Crime Patrol. Jai Hind!
