Tru Calling (2003)
Great Show, Great Cast.
I saw the pilot and really liked it. I'm pretty sure the network didn't think that they had a hit on their hands when they gave the green light for Tru Calling but that is exactly what they've got. Eliza Dushku is amazing in the lead and definetly one of the best looking women on tv. The supporting cast does a good job also, I perticularly liked the brother's character; the gambler rebel. Give this show a chance, it has a really good premise and a great cast.
Whoopi (2003)
Really funny
Whoopi is surprisingly a very funny sitcom. Considering former big screen stars Television shows sucked (Bette, The Gena Davis Show). Whoopi actually has me laughing out loud every Tuesday night. Most of the comedy is based around ethnic houmour, but no one is safe, blacks, Arabs, whites, and Russians....but since everyone gets their turn at being picked on it isn't really offensive. Whoopi Goldburg does a good job as a grumpy hotel manager. And their is a great supporting cast as well. The Arab handyman is one of the funniest on the show along with Whoopi's brothers girlfriend who is a female version of eminem. Good show I give it an 8/10
Leprechaun (1992)
Not as bad as everyone says
Leprechaun is no work of art by any standards, but definitly not one of the worst 100 films of all time. While it has a paper thin plot and would be better suited as a children's film (aside from a little gore). I first saw this film when I was about 14 years old and I'm not ashamed to say I liked it. Call me crazy or a bad critic, but this film was entertaining. Anyone who went into this movie ready to take it seriously and expected a good scare, well come on? a 2 foot tall leprechaun isn't scary no matter what the circumstance. Warwick Davis' character was entertaining though. The rest of the cast are a bunch of no bodies besides a very young Jennifer Aniston. The acting is that of a low budget horror film but then again, if the shoe fits? I think this is one of those films that have camp value, instead of sitting around complaining about plot holes, unrealistic situations and what not. Sit around and have a good laugh. Appreciate the movie for what it is.
Jeepers Creepers 2 (2003)
What were they thinking?
This movie is the worst peice of garbage I have ever seen. The movie starts off slow and by the end it's just agonising. Half way through I wished the creeper would kill me because the movie is an utter joke that doesn't even have camp value. The dialog is stupid, all the characters are stupid. The storyline is stupid, but if you can look passed that the movie is oscar worthy. No but seriously, Not that you even care about the characters (spoilers) but what even happens to those kids half of them just run off into a field and you don't find out if their dead or alive, and the gay kid driving the car just throws a girl out the door while flooring it to try and save her, but in the end probably killed her, but who knows cuz they don't say anything about it. I saw the first one and didn't really like it that much but compared to the sequal it was Incredible movie magic. Don't go see this, everyone in the theater I was at could not stop laughing. What a pathetic attemp at movie making. If they make a third one there is something definatly wrong with the world we live in.
