At least two

The movie "I Wish You Were My Shoes" or as the singer sings throughout the film "If You Felt What I Feel" by Sobhan Ganji is a semi-symbolic-semi-realistic short film formed that in the most classic way possible, devoid of any extra scenes and plans, tries to address at least two important things or issues. Issues of self-respect and taking life for granted without having a judgmental view. The film has 5 actors who are all male, but their gender is irrelevant. Addict, athlete, researcher, artist and trader. The circular structure of the work compels us to face a permanent problem or problems.

I am mesmerized by the fact that my favorite director, Woody Allen, made such a film despite his old age. A film that, although it may not be as energetic, creative and exciting as his previous masterpieces, but it was made at the peak of maturity and shines on top of his brilliant career. I'm so glad for his fans. We know he could make a great movies in almost every genres but also we sure his best especially is human relationship and dark/bright comedy romances. Like Annie Hall (who could believe that work made in the year 1977) like Deconstructing Harry (20 damn years after Annie Hall) and so many works. We should stand up and clapping for this amazing artist.

Story story story

The story was wonderful. In my opinion, it is not only worthy of attention from an artistic-literary point of view, but also worthy of attention and reward from all of them who are trying to make the planet earth a better place for living. Especially the activists of children's rights, animal welfare and right and human rights.

Of course good stuff about this work more than just story for example the faces of most of the characters were designed very pleasantly.

I can list some complaints about the lack of work in some technical larts of this animation but with a more comprehensive view, we can easily ignore them.

I congratulate the people involved in making this extremely valuable movie. Cinematic works related to Iran that are made outside of Iran without the support of the Iranian government often follow one of these two paths. Either their film is a film with formal games and a bad story (such as Women Without Men and Rhinoceros) or a film that is not refined, which is deliberately produced for an audience in a small geographical area (like almost all films that focus on Iran environment or character) The brightness of the holy spider requires another space to write but I would like to express my sincere thanks to the creators of this work for not stepping in either of those two paths.

A highly predictable movie. With hollow dialogues; however, the director / author must give a medal of courage to address such issues as this
