Breaking Bad: Granite State (2013)
Why TV was worth invented
its hard to put it in words, since I am a TV lover freak. and I have watched the best over recent decades. complete series. The Sopranos, Dexter, Seinfeld, Nip/tuck.. and then this particular piece of art make its way. a TV gem nobody expected. I started watching the series when it was on its third season. and what called my attention first was Mr Cranston's Emmy award winnings. A former average actor, similar to Mr Gandolfini fairy tale (so sad we lost him). and when I saw the pilot, I just fall for it. an amazing acting on both main characters. totally Emmy deserved. though I have to say, I can predict an easy Emmy award for Dean Norris's Hank character for 2014 Emmy's. by far the best performance this current last season.
as for Granite State. the phone call scene father and son poem. my goodness.its so natural. it showed Walt's only intention all the series: his family well being. I would do the same for mine.
Breaking Bad: Salud (2011)
The only word is ...WOW!!!
I will be honest with everyone that may read this critic. I consider myself some kind of a movie addict. living in a third world country sometimes takes out of context such superficial issues as TV or movies entertainment. and I am telling you, I would make a fortune as a critic knowing what I know about how to dismembered a show or movie, positively or negatively. this new Breaking Bad season is up in Latin America pretty soon. but is not on air yet. So, obviously the only source I Have is the internet. after I saw the SALUD episode, I was literately blown away. lucky for me I pay my bills on time. is amazing what this producers are doing with the series. finally, it makes justice to the Jesse Character. and don't get me wrong. I am referring maybe this is the very first episode where he carries the load of the plot. entirely. superbly. In a totally convincing acting. this guy is made of ice. no doubt. easily one of the top ten best episodes
my goodness: the writing. the editing. the climax. How do they do it? I actually hate it because it always leaves me wanting more. the week gets endless until next Sunday.
to think that we are just three episodes away.. gives me the blues.
two thumbs way, way up!!
Breaking Bad: Bug (2011)
a story for all seasons
From the moment the chapter began, its just so involving that one cant take their eyes off it. every episode not only takes the ride consistently but increasingly higher in terms of adrenaline levels. just when someone thought the past was past, this chapter takes a step back to remind Skyler that she hasn't been good either. and the fact the her former lover takes her back to it, by letting her know that the IRS is into him or might be, she knows already that something has to be done, regardless of her initial interpretation of the situation.
again, there are no short cuts to the story lines and every character is fully solid developed. particularly Skyler, which whom the fact of transforming herself into a Mr White's behavior that edges with moral and ethics grounds leaves her as well in a very vulnerable position
this episode just confirm that this series has so many to give that I should suggest the producers to make their best effort to keep it going (I easily foreseen several seasons to come, its just the right thing to do, the next natural step to take). lets not forget the upset the Sopranos caused by ending up the series too early. looking forward to see next episode
