It is a clean one time watch movie, you can't say it is a thriller but trys, you will see many AR murugadoss touch in handling scenes but debutant director fails little bit in execution. First 25 mins is waste of time then movie starts and after interval it was very grippy, song comes like a speed breaker and spoils the exact flow.... this movie could be named as KO-2. STRENGTHS:- * Story and direction * Crisp and seat edge screenplay.... * Razor sharp cut by an editor..... * Sonam kapoor and other cast performance were mind blowing.... * Art department to create the same 80's feel
FINAL VERDICT:- * Overall. it is based on true story which was filmed to get us hijacked for 2 hours. Literally your heart beat gets pumped in first 25 mins. Later you will be in scared mood as the movie progress. Sonam tried her best to portray as neerja, hijackers delivered some good performances. At the end, Shabana azmi shows some awesome and mind-blowing performances which automatically makes you cry. I bet you will cry... This is my second movie I cried after bajrangi bhaijaan. I strongly recommend this movie, wow it is a great start for sonam kapoor. Biopics need to be made. Go and watch this at your nearest cinemas....
