Dunkirk (2017)
Maybe 7,5/10 but not more
I love Christofer Nolan. Great director. Great movies. No doubt about that. But unfortunately I think the movie was boring. It had awesome fight scenes, with different camera angles, music, costumes but it did not keep you at the edge of your seat like his other movies.
Almost no dialogue. You can say that it is realistic, because it is a war scene but the viewer needs to know something about the characters in order to identify with them. I felt like I was watching on youtube different war scenes in a 2 hours movie. It did not create the suspense I was hoping.
Pet (2016)
Nice Screenplay
Not the typical thriller you usually watch. It has a great twist and I believe it is fair that the movie was nominated for Best ScreenPlay. You think at first it will be a very typical scenario where a man will torture and start acting with a sense of extreme power to his victim but the movie shows that the power of mind could be stronger when it knows how to exploit the weaknesses.
I put 7/10 because I believe the dialogue between them could have the possibility to become smarter, more intiguing, more twisted. In fact, they kept it simple.
I suggest the movie.
The Mist (2017)
Boring!
Boring, boring, boring. I have seen 7 episodes so far and it is not what I was expecting. I was expecting something which is close to the movieMist. If you want to see monsters chasing people, or at least to see something from another dimension then this is not the series for you.The director is focusing 89,5% on the conflicts between the characters inside the hospital, 10% on the mystery that is outside and 0,5% on the monsters that they are outside. If they do not raise their budget and put some action I don't think it will last for long.
