Day of the Dead (2008)
A Little Longer...
Let me start out by saying that I don't watch that much zombie movies. But honestly, I kind of liked this one. The cast was good, Mena Suvari from American Pie, Nick Cannon from AGT, Ving Rhames and AnnaLynn McCord who later went to star in Fired Up!. Now let me explain one thing. The makeup and special effects were not good. Honestly, thats one of the reasons I only gave it 6/10. I liked the story and I just liked the movie overall. But really? 1 Hour 21 Minutes? They could have extended it a lot longer and made it a lot better! That is the main reason why I made it 6/10 instead of 9/10. One more thing *Might be a spoiler, I dunno* the ending was cheesy and I didn't like it. So I sort of like it, and it you have friends over or are bored (And is a horror/action movie fan) then this is a good movie for you.

Friends 4ever (2011)
Hilarious, but doesn't go into the story as much as I hoped.
You got to love Shane Dawson. In this story, he portrays a girl named "Amy Johnson" who has a Halloween party, and decides to pull a prank on Danny "Dandruff", which turns deadly. I like the graphics (though one kill scene was a little revealing that it was fake knives) and the overall of the movie. The ending will keep you all laughing your heads off, or being surprised. Now... the bad part. I didn't like how they didn't go into the story of Brenda (played by Bree Essrig) and her mom, like Amy mentioned near the middle. Even though this is a YouTube short, I still think they should have gone into Brenda a little more. As I said before, I love this short, about Amy Johnson, whose having a party with her five other friends, and an unexpected guest....

Donner Pass (2011)
Great Slasher!
Overall, I loved the movie. The graphics were good, the acting was superb and the plot was decent. I liked how in the opening scene, it shows a legend about how George (I think that's the name) Donner ends up killing all (implied) of the Donner Party. I also liked how the main characters traits were. I thought that Kayley had sort of a self-centered (At least around Mike) personality. Mike had more of also a self-centered personality, and I don't get how Kayley and Mike could have even stayed together throughout what happened. I thought that Thomas was mysterious and at first, I thought he was a nerd, and also an Emo type of personality. I thought that, well, don't get me started on Nicole. I thought she was a little stuck up in my opinion and didn't care about anyone except herself. I liked the graphics (I didn't know there was THAT much intestines in the human body) and thought they were moderately realistic. I liked the idea of how the blood of someone who has tasted live human flesh can turn you into something else, and I also liked the Friday the 13th like ending. Overall, I think that this movie should have deserved to be in theaters. I enjoyed this movie a lot and probably would watch this again with my friends (if they liked horror).
My rating is: 7.5 out of 10 (Or, 3.75 out of 5)
Hugo (2011)
Best Film of the Decade (So far)
Out of every Martin Scorsese movie, this one beats out the competitors. The casting is amazing, and Asa Butterfield just gets the Chloe Grace Moretz with Ben Kingsley was outstanding. The movie is based on a boy whose father is killed in a fire, trying to get an automaton to work to have someone to talk too. There, here comes along Papa Georges (Ben Kingsley) with his granddaughter Isabelle (Chloe Grace Moretz). Hugo and Isabelle find out who Papa Georges really is and tries to get him back to his old work. While being chased by the Station Inspector (Sacha Baron Cohen), Hugo flies into a life of Comedy, Action and Drama. I give this movie 10 out of 10 because most good movies I see, I would not buy them on DVD or Blu-Ray. This is one of the few films where I would. The acting is superb, and the movie sends you into an adventure you can't imagine.

Munger Road (2011)
Best Horror Movie I've Seen In A While, But Not Much Of A Plot
This movie shows that you can make a good horror movie with no gore whatsoever on a budget under $45,000.00. This movie has lots of jump scenes that are WAY unexpected and made me jump in my seat along with the entire theater. The movie took about 30 minutes to get into the plot, which wasn't much of a plot. The plot is that on the night before the Scarecrow fest, a killer breaks out of a prison and is on the loose. While this happens, four teenagers decide to go to the "Ghost Haunted" Munger Road. The legend of Munger Road is that a bus filled with school kids got hit by a train after stopping on the train tracks. There's also another legend that a girl got murdered in a barn near there. This movie has lots of jump scenes and a twist ending that will hopefully pop out a sequel.
