Bheeshmaparvam (2022)
Out and out Mammootty performance
#Spoiler
The movie first half tried its best to fit Mahabharat premise to a kochi family with a hint of Godfather's plot inspiration blended with it. This was well supported by performances of the lead cast. But the second half almost lost that charm, with a revenge plot line with the entry of hit or miss villain's character, followed by an abrupt climax which didn't meet the platform raised by the much stronger first half. The only gripping factor in the second half was the energy given by Mammootty's amazing screen presence. His overall performance and screen presence was an incredible.
Men in Black: International (2019)
Lead Duo Shines in the Fresh Funny MIB reboot
Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Tompson pair clicked well in their outing as the newest partners for MIB in a very fun outing.
Even when the Critics and fans slams the movie for not matching the originals and blaming for no Will Smith, I strongly believe that the movie tried to set an identity on its own and I really enjoyed the originality in that.
The movie was very entertaining, well paced plot.
Would really recommend the viewers to reject all the negativity and enjoy the movie by not trying to match or compare against originals or sequels.
Varikkuzhiyile Kolapathakam (2019)
A very good thriller with a modest star cast
A very interesting thriller with a well defined plotline. The cast have done a great job especially Amit Chakkalakkal who portrayed the lead character. Dilesh Pothen also played a key role, his character was neck to neck with the Lead. Very brave attempt from the makers in building up the movie with comparatively newer faces in the key roles. The plot goes in a slow but very steady pace with a very gripping second half and an interesting climax.
