Rabu Hina (2000)
What can i say......
I am a very huge anime/manga fan. since i was a little child i loved watching cartoons. One day I realised Manga existed, my brother use to bring in lots of Manga, and i watched all of them, 18 rated or not. But never have i seen a cartoon series that i have been into so much, love hina is my favourite of all time, and it will stay that way. At my current age, action and destruction isnt all that for me, i need something more. and live hina has it, action, suspence, comedy, love etc...
Anybody who reads this i advise u go out and get urself the collection, u wont regret it, i didnt.
Shin kidô senki Gundam W (1995)
One of the Best anime series ever....
When i heard about gundam wing, I thought the world had gone mad to bring out power rangers in animation. After i actually watched the first few episodes, i knew this wasnt for children, in the sense of a story line. The whole plot was very intelligent. The animation was of good quality, and the gundams, wow.. wat can i say. i loved the action, though the gundams were invincible when fighting other robots, they had limits. I hate it when the good guys are always so invincible, it makes a film, media boring because you know what will happen, and wats the use of bad guys. It also makes the animation childish, which i think is a cause for any loss they make.
I give the animation 10/10. A must see. definetly not childish.
Shin seiki Evangelion Gekijô-ban: Air/Magokoro wo, kimi ni (1997)
Sorry i didnt get that.......
This film/animation, has got to be one of the greats or shut plain stupid. In my opinion, 1/1000 people would actually like this cartoon movie. Why? Well first of all u have to be very intelectual and find story line's artistic, second of you have to have alot of patience, i mean alot. The cartoon is really about a boy, shinji, who has been deprived of somthing in his life, for this he hates himself and the world. He wants to be left alone. His father, they never got on, makes him pilot a very big robot(the only highlight of the series of the cartoon). Shinji hates piloting the robot, subconciously he loves it, and all the destruction he causes with it. Very powerfull men choose to destroy the world, so a new one can start, problem with the old one was a few experiments gone wrong, and they werent too happy with society, who were always on alert because of their experiments that went wrong. On the virge of the world being destroyed, shinji, in his robot(eva 01) must decide how to mold the world. The end. I wished it were a mini adventure.
All in all, the film was 10% action, 70% talking about things children and adults alike would not understand. 20% flashing images, enough to make u dizzy, and cross-eyed. If you have children, ban this cartoon, dont even watch it yourself, your sanity depends on it.
I give the cartoon 9/10. I understood the plot, plus am a couch potato.
A Night at the Roxbury (1998)
Its 2004, 6 years after the film was made
and i still love it to when i watched it back in 1998. this film is one of those comedies that just hit you in the face with how stupid people can be, and in effect make us laugh. I have actually met people like those in the film, and it adds to the laugh.
Watch it and enjoy, though it may be old, most new comedies are rubbish like " BRUUCE_ALMIGHTY " never liked it.
