The Flash (2014–2023)

Season 1-3 are good...

The first 3 seasons were really good - exciting, entertaining and nerve-wracking... but then it also went downhill from there. Every single episode must be ruined with melodramatic scenes where everyone is saved from darkness with sweet, romantic words. But I would almost say that the worst thing from season 4 onwards is all their time travel, their millions of Earths and all the characters that travel back and forth from one Earth to the other.

If you want to watch The Flash, stick with the first three seasons... and just enjoy them and then make up your own ending, it's much better than the show itself.

Bullet Train (2022)

Quirky and funny movie

It really is a movie where you have to turn off 90% of your brain... but not in a negative way. Despite the fact that there are many things that couldn't quite be done in reality, it's still a crazy, quirky and fun action film.

There are many times you could say "but" in the film, to the story, but it is worth watching, without a doubt.

What unfortunately drags it down a lot is an understated Brad Pitt who unfortunately hasn't gotten the right lines. But on the other hand, a Joey King who plays the murderous innocent girl very well. Unfortunately they ruin the ending by having Michael Shannon play the Russian 'White Death' who tries to be Russian but always ends up with an American accent.

Jurassic World Dominion (2022)

Will never be Jurassic Park

It's a nice movie worth watching, but unfortunately a lot of the dinos seem more mechanical than they did back in 1993, 1997 and 2001... which kind of spoils the movie... and then all that DNA genetic engineering kills a bit the very essence of the film.

I miss the originality of the Jurassic Park movies... there is too much predictability in the Jurassic World movies, especially this one.

I personally think that there are too many things that are seen a little too easily through the fingers.

JWD is worth watching, there should be no doubt about that, but it is not the greatest WAUW experience I am sitting with, after spending 2 hours and 40 minutes on it.

Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard (2021)

See the first one, forget this one

Flat lines.

Ryan Reynolds who gets run over all the time without getting hurt.

Salma Hayek with a split personality - one moment she shouts, screams and curses.. the next moment she is a loving and caring person.

Antonio Banderas ... a Spanish actor (with a Spanish accent) who plays a Greek villain.

Almost non-stop shooting, without the 'heroes' never getting a scratch (except R. R.)

So it says a bit itself; bad movie.

Watch the first one and do not think about the fact that they have made a sequel.

The Matrix Resurrections (I) (2021)

Worst movie in 2021 and 2022

The first 40 minutes are weird and just seem like they made a movie based on a parody of The Matrix.

Then it just seems like a half bad copy of the first Matrix movie, just with newer and more modern technological terms and language usage.

The Wachowski brothers must have really needed money after their gender reassignment, which really must have been done by a couple of Thai blind children, to make such a Matrix film as Resurrection ... it must indicate a lack of money to a great extent.

So after the first three movies, Neo becomes a pill-eating computer game programmer with no recollection of what he did, but apparently incurred some Star Wars Jedi force magic.

Zion falls after Mopheus apparently became power-hungry and IO emerges.

The robots fought a kind of Terminator-like war and then went into some Transformers where they became human allies.

Smith is more than a playboy, than a Matrix villain.

Suddenly, Agent Smith helps them for a short time ... and then kills them again.

..... and what happens to that massacre towards the end of the film. Almost the entire United States that is suddenly on the street in zombie mode, the heroes shoot right and left and people jump out of the windows, Trinity on a motorcycle with Neo in the back still using his Star Wars force to push people and bombs away with, Trinity suddenly becomes Superwoman in the middle of a jump etc etc.

You see a remake of the first in the series, while actually watching clips every now and then, from the original Matrix movies.

The only positive thing that came out of watching this movie was that one gets the urge to watch the good old ones in hopes of forgetting this failure of a movie that robbed me of almost 2 1/2 hours of my life.

So to summarize; Trinity has lost its memory, Morpheus has become 30 years younger, the robots have become cute and friendly, Neo has become a scumbag and the handlind is the first film again just with more massacres in it.

Snake Eyes (2021)

Big disgrace

The biggest disgrace against G. I. Joe's good story about Snake Eyes.

The story about him is totally destroyed and there is nothing about his "he don't speak"

A few fighting scences, but not something to write about.

The Passing Bells (2014)

Boring all the way

The first big thing that destroys the miniseries is that the German soldiers speak as much British as the British soldiers.

The next thing that destroys it is the lack of war... a few shots and a few bombs and then it's over.

With all the horrible and cruel things you have read and learned about World War I, this series has really hidden it well away.

Rurouni Kenshin Part II: Kyoto Inferno (2014)

Okay action/samurai movie

It's an okay good movie with a couple of good fight scenes.

It is unfortunately a bit overplayed sometimes, but not so much so you lose interest - waay better than the first movie.

Looking forward to watch the third movie.

Close Range (2015)

Shooting without any bullet holes

Half of the film takes place with non-stop shootings inside and outside the family home.. yet there are so few bullet holes in the house.

The play itself and the dialogues are nothing to cheer about - overplay throughout the entire movie.

An entire Mexican cartel. Scott Atkinson who only has the few weapons he picks up from those he has shot... but still doesn't get hit or injured.

Seaside Hotel (2013– )

Best show ever

This is the best Danish shower ever made. Good acting, good dialogues and a lot of good humor.

Brightburn (2019)

Superman gone bad... and worse

Seen it once... never want to see it again. I have never seen Elizabeth Banks act so bad as in Brightburn.

A 12 year-old with Superman power goes insane, sounds pretty awesome - but it isent, not at all. You always know what will happen, it is so predictable. It's one of those "now you see me, now you don't" movies.

It's generally just a movie about a 12 year old boy who's more barbaric than Chucky - killing people on the most nasty and serial killer-like kindda way.

Overplayed, poorly written and a boring story. Gene Hackman plays okay as the towns violent and dominating rich guy.

Valhalla: The Legend of Thor (I) (2019)

Way worse than the cartoon

It is worse written and performed than the old cartoon from 1986.

Loki is suddenly a black man. Thor sounds like an old hare man who's been drinking for too long. Thor walks like he himself. The children come up to Valhalla, meet all the Nordic gods... but are almost indifferent, as if it is very normal. Odin, with only one eye, is so badly made that it looks like a perpetual struggle to keep the 'dead' eye closed - give the poor man a pat on the eye. Quark looks just like the thick boy in the class with a couple of fangs in his lower mouth.

The way the gods speak to each other, their saying is very up to date.

Fighting outside the cave where Thor and Loki are trapped is okay, but certainly does not resemble gods fighting. The fight inside, it's far worse. Odin and the King of the Jotnar are just like two tired and old wizards with no magic left.

The movie would be better served with a lot of funny lines and made into a comedy than..... whatever they've tried on here.

Joker (I) (2019)

It's 2 hours I'll never get back... Sure, Arthur's story is tragic, but then there's no more Oscar "greatness" in it.

The last 30 minutes er 'Okay' but otherweise I can npt belive it won two Oscar. If you watch this, don't expect to much.

The Sisters Brothers (2018)

Boring all the way

I honestly have nothing nice to say about this boring movie, so I keep my mouth shut.

If you like an slow, boring movie where nothing really happens - eventhough there are some few gunfights, then this is the perfect movie for you.

Red Hill (2010)

An modern western

It is an excellent movie, with a good amount of excitement and action. However, I would say that our 'villain' should be happy that the city's tough boys are so afraid of shooting ... because then the 'villain' had died many times within the first 45 minutes.

But, as I said, it keeps the tension and an unexpected twist in the end.

Across the Waters (2016)

Can't hear anything

After not even 20 minutes I was about to give up... you can't hear what they're saying and if you turn up the volume, you can't be in the room because of the loud music.

Despite being taken from the horrors of World War II, the story and plot is poorly written and executed.

The Knight Before Christmas (2019)

Seen before...

As many other christmas movies, this one is also a good one to relax to without you need to focus all the time.... worst part is that it is all a re-make of Black Knight and Just Visitting, but in a christmas edition.

The Princess Switch (2018)

Seen before, but good

It is just a Vanessa Hudgens version of A Christmas Prince from 2017. Beside that we have seen it all before and everything is predictable, but with that said, then it is a pretty good Christmas movie with a sweet story, romance and quiet, calm humor.

If you need to relax with a cute story, and like V.H, then this is a good movie

The Kid (II) (2019)

Boring

Sorry to say, but it is boring AF. Billy the Kid that act more like a emotion confused man because he meets a boy looking for his sister.

Everything feels like it's moving in slow motion. The only exciting time is when Rio finds his sister who the uncle keeps trapped and leases out to prostitution.. there is just 10 minutes of excitement

Avengement (I) (2019)

Prison violence and tavern fight

There is not much to say but it is really violent. Then if you are into prison violence and tavern fighting, then the movie is absolutely perfect

Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)

All seen before

It's almost a Chernobyl movie, just with monsters. There is so much radioactivity in this movie, but no radioactive waste that makes people can't be there.

There are no aspects in this movie that have not been seen before, in the previous Godzilla films;

• A protagonist who saves everyone by driving to the mail characters at the last minute and shouting "GET IN".
• Godzilla who repeatedly gets knocked out by prehistoric monsters, right up to the last moment when Godzilla always ends up with super powers.
• Everyone get killed by all sorts of objects flying around during the monster attacks, except for the protagonists who can survive nuclear bombs, collapsing buildings, etc.
• Every time people plan the wildest attack, they ALWAYS end up unable to fire the weapon at the last minute.
• Always one or two people who can look Godzilla passionately in the eyes and make him not eat all people.
• One or more people looking frightened at a dark void or a big dust cloud.. and suddenly a monster pops up.

Most saddening about the film is almost the gigantic night swarm that gets hurt as it tries to save Godzilla but is attacked by a flying monster.

I would say that the best thing about this movie is actually, the way the monsters are made with CGI, VFX or other .. for they are really well made, so the plus fights on that account. But besides, I have to say unfortunately that the film is not so interesting (I sat and wrote a review during the film because I lost focus).

Werewolves of the Third Reich (2017)

Waste of money

It was hard just to give it ONE star.

So bad acting that it almost looks like a school comedy. The same two tones of music 80% of the movie. CGI was simply to laugh at. Adolf Hitler spoke American to dr. Mengele and all the German officers spoke worse English than a class of Swedish development students. Prisoners were lined up, but no one cried or look scared... I have seen woman who looked more scared of a spider. Adolf Hitlers office was poorer decorated than a low budget theater play.

I am speechless about how grown ups can make such a f.ck.. up movie.
