Nutcracker on Ice (1995)
The best that I've ever seen!
Ever since I was in 1st grade I have loved the Nutcracker. This is a great interpretation of the story. This program has some of the best figure skaters in the world. I especially liked the Chinese Dance. Todd Eldrege on of the USA's great figure skaters plays a great nutcracker prince. Nicole Bobeck did a great job too. I really liked the performance that Brian Orser did as Clara's godfather Drosselmeyer. I could watch this program for the rest of my life and never get tired of it. It's that good. Peggy Fleming also does a great job as the Sugar Plum Fairy. I would recommend this program to anyone who enjoys figure skating. It just shows what you can do with your skating shoes.
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
This movie is the best
This movie is really great. All the actors did a remarkable job. I especially enjoyed the Cantina scene where we meet Chewbaca. My favorite character has to be C-3PO. This so cool for my 2006 senior prom at my high school the theme is "Star Wars" the interior of the building is supposed to be a replica of the Cantina. I especially enjoyed Frank Oz as Yoda. Mark Hamill was great as Luke Skywalker. Alec Guinness was good to. I loved Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia. "R2D2 it is you" said by C-3PO is probably my favorite quote. James Earl Jones is one heck of a great actor as the voice of Darth Vader. I liked this movie because it is so great all by itself but also as part of the trilogy.
Alice in Wonderland (1951)
A fun movie the whole family will enjoy
This a great movie. At the start of the movie you see Alice and her sister. Then the fun begins when Alice sees a white rabbit. She decides to follow him. It seems the best of curiosity got her. She follows the Rabbit with Dinah her cat down the rabbit hole. There she meets the doorknob and cries herself to tears which makes the doorknob let her get in. She passes by the Dodo. Along the journey she meets some fun loving characters including the hilarious Cheshire Cat and more of Lewis Carol's creatures. This is a movie you definitely can't miss. I love this movie so much because it has the coolest characters of any Disney movie ever made and some of the songs are stuck somewhere in the back of my head. What makes it a Disney Classic is that it is created with the imaginations of two young artist known today as Walt and Roy Disney...
The Music Man (1962)
Wow! this knocked some good sense into me!
I believe out of all the Musicals that I have seen that this one is truly the best. My favorite characters were Professor Harold Hill, the Buffalo Bills and Marion. This a great story about a con man Harold, who decides to have a boy's band with the help of his friend Marcelles. The story goes on to tell about the love between Marion and Harold. The townspeople of River City, Iowa want to get rid of Harold but he warns them of trouble. The Mayor and Tommy Djilas try to make Harold's life harder in a way by getting the constable to come and arrest him. The scene that stands out in my mind is the meeting at the footbridge because the scene is so picturesque. Ronnie Howard is so cute as Winthrop. This movie is better in my mind than Matthew Broderick's version no offense!
