One of the best SCI-FI series ever...
9 April 2004
Right up there with Battlestar Galactica, B5, V: The mini-series or V: The Final Battle (not the crap they showed week after week).

A test pilot gets stranded in an unknown and very alien part of space while testing a new spacecraft capable of opening up wormholes. As many sci-fi shows, something goes wrong and he gets stranded on a living ship (Moya, a Leviathan) filled with prisoners. They all now have the same enemy, the Peacekeepers, with Scorpius as their leader.

Farscape adds a new flavor to SCI-FI, which is science *FICTION*

It's a fresh new look on what sci-fi should be.

Claudia Black & Ben Browder bring new faces to the scene & make a a really nice *should be* couple a la Mulder & Scully, altough with some new humor twists.

Although I was sceptical at first, I went trough the first season. On season 2 it began to take off. Of course everything is exaggerated, but it's sci-fi. It's not a no-life reality show like every network airs. Too bad it got cancelled after season 4 by Sci-Fi Channel (they said it was too sci-fi and replaced it with a reality show.)

Too sci-fi? it's not like it was aired on the food channel. Anyways, really worth watching. It will probably become a classic.
