Big Stan (2007)

I really enjoyed this picture
20 October 2008
It's a light-hearted prison film that works on so many levels. Rob Schneider is back in a role that we all enjoy seeing him in (I've been a fan for a while and liked him in Judge Dredd).

Rob Schneider plays a character that, initially, you're not sure whether to like him or hate him, but the fact that the character is a wimp is his redeeming quality.

I'm sure, as the director, Mr. Schneider played a big part in casting, and his taste in beautiful women sure fared him well on this film. The role of the wife, is played by a beautiful actress that's both witty and cleverly, naive.

I can honestly say, I was entertained throughout. There were a few scenes that had me laughing out loud. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised.

Film Making at it's best!
1 June 2004
I recently viewed this film on atomfilms.com and was thoroughly impressed. The extremely high production values of this film are noticeable in the acting performances, cinematography, direction, and the script was genius too! I especially loved the performance from the actor playing Phil Shucky, he was believable and even had me sold. This is completely different from most of the short films on atomfilms.com, most of those are shot on dv, this one was definitely shot on film. The audio was crisp and clean, as was the picture quality, on the internet this is especially good. I love the song that was remastered for the opening of the film. An all around great movie!

Amazing movie

Warning: Spoilers
I was recently invited to a screening of this film on the fox studios lot at the Zanuck Theater, and this movie was awesome. I had been waiting since november of 03 to see this film, I loved Tony Scott's style of shooting "Beat the Devil" the most recent of the BMW films. The story was incredible, the cinematography was awesome, the action was great, the sound effects were spectacular. I just can't stop raving about this film. It was 2 1/2 hours long, but most enjoyable! Kind of a spoiler, but I know there were three endings to the film right down to the last second, and I'm happy with the final ending, I would like to know the other endings though? Great film, Tony Scott rocks!
