I feel angry
23 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
What an utter load of garbage and good riddance to this final pathetic entry in the so called Snyderverse. It's actually insulting how bad this mess of a movie is. It feels like a cartoon, 98% must be CGI apart from actors heads and it's poor CGI at that. It will entertain boys 9 and under and that must be audience they were looking for. The plot makes no sense and most characters are one dimensional at best. The Manta villain looks like a 1950's child's spacesuit and don't get me started on the CGI octopus! All the underwater scenes look like a PS2 cutaway scene, day glow and cheap. Hopefully James Gunns new universe will go someways to erase the memory of this piffle.

So bad!
19 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I don't know where to start! This was beyond awful. I've never been so frustrated with a tv show in my life. The plot is absolutely ridiculous, the passengers are morons, I'm convinced Idris Elba was working with the so called hi jackers, they had so many chances to end it, but didn't. The sub plots are just dumb. I'm so disappointed with Apple as most of their shows are pretty good but this was just absurd. It felt like a bad Mcguyver or A-Team episode as was so far fetched. Over acting by everyone especially the Home Secretary and the Welsh ATC woman, obviously going all out for awards season! 1/10 at best.

More Netflix dross
11 August 2023
Like every other action film that Netflix release, this is a 5 at best. Another live action computer game, awful far fetched plot , terrible acting and nothing more than a 2 hour time filler at best. Whoever keeps commissioning films for Netflix needs to leave as it's the same drivel over and over again. 6 Underground, Red Notice blah blah blah, all the same glossy, style over substance rubbish. They must think that it's just teenage boys that watch Netflix as every so called action move is catered for them. I dread to think how much this cost but what a waste. A Waste of time and subscription.

I hate this film
23 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I will never know why people like this movie, it's not good at all and the star is the biggest turkey you'll see each Xmas. Over paid, zero talent and this film highlights it all. The story is awful, the acting is poor and it's as funny as Nora virus on your birthday. I do not get what people like about it. Will Ferrell needs to stop making films as none are very good and I include the atrocious Anchorman in that, yet another of his films people seem to inexplicably enjoy.....I hate seeing this on my tv at Christmas, it make me angry that it's allowed and I hope one day that people will see it for the cack it is.

Tripe!
25 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Utter piffle from start to finish and got really boring after 50 mins. Bay obviously had 10 camera drones for Xmas and uses them all at the same time throughout. Jake overacts, Camera people over egg it and Bay overdoes it. Imagine Transformers and Bad Boys having a baby and you have Ambulance!

Dire
2 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The only thing deep about this film was the amount of effort it took to keep watching this drivel. I have no deal what they were trying to achieve with this story, a hoe wife and doormat husband doesn't make good entertainment. It wound me up more than a clockwork toy and I felt embarrassed on behalf of the cast & crew.

Utterly magnificent!!
13 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
By far the best Batman and the best Batman movie. Felt like a DC version of the film Seven, was dark and violent and showed Gotham in all its grime and glory. Robert Pattinson was truly magnificent, showed a difference to previous versions and made it his own which is hard to to for such a played role. He was brooding, driven and had such screen presence it made me want more and more. The score and cinematography were awesome and the sound editing was second to none. I really hope this is the start of something as I feel it's one of the best comic book movies ever and that includes Marvel and prev Batman films. Outstanding!!

Warning: Spoilers
I adored this series, the characters felt so real and it's was portrayed so touchingly that you really invested in them. Great performances from the lead characters, very funny with a cooky supernatural element. I really hope for a second series as this is one of my favourites for 2022 so far.

Outstanding Entertainment!
7 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I've thoroughly enjoyed this series and for me Alan Ritchson is what made it. He is without a doubt a fantastic action star and his portrayal of Reacher is bang on. The story is brilliant and could never been done with so much detail if it was a movie. The pace and action is spot on and I cannot wait for the next series! My fav new action hero is here!!

Warning: Spoilers
For me this is the definitive docu series on the whole JFK saga as it's put together with a huge amount of research and interviews all of the key players on the conspiracy. The overall feeling I had at the end is one of sadness, sad for what a country can do to its leader who trusted those he commanded. Sad for all the victims, their families and those forced or coerced into covering up. Hopefully one day the complete truth will out!

Precocious child!
2 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This is utter garbage with a spoilt undisciplined child running around without a care in the world reporting on murder, kidnapping and miscarriages of justice whilst the dumb adults just look on blankly! The precocious Hilde is a giant pain in the butt for all concerned and her parents, at the very least should be up on child endangerment charges as they obviously have no idea what she is doing. She seems exempt from school and has free reign to do whatever she wants. I can't work out of this is meant for kids or adults, it's misses on both counts and is completely preposterous!

I adored this show, thoroughly entertaining and very funny with a great whodunnit element. The cast is fantastic with great chemistry and it has a wonderful cooky feel to it. I cannot wait for season 2. I miss it already as binged it over Xmas. One of my favourites for 2021.

Epic sci-fi at its best
10 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This is a complex, layered science fiction series on a massive scale. Fantastic production and the sfx are outstanding. The characters draw you in and the premise is unique. I am a huge fan of the genre and this surpassed my expectations. I cannot wait to see where season 2 goes as this had me hooked from episode 1. Truly magnificent.

A mess, utter carnage
29 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Makes the Spawn movie look like a masterpiece! I'm not sure what the cast & crew were aiming for here but it fell woefully short of the mark. The story was dumb, the mess of an ending was like an explosion in a CGI factory. They then decide to shoehorn it into the MCU after the end credits. I can't see Marvel being overly happy with this addition and the next one needs to greatly improve.

Warning: Spoilers
What a show, expertly written and acted and hilarious, with some very poignant moments and touches on subjects that comedy shows usually shy away from. The cast is magnificent and I laugh out loud during each episode. This is tv comedy/drama at its best.

This was epic drama telling done at its best. Fantastic story, character and settings. A proper whodoneit told with a remarkable cast and the settings were so good you will believe you are on the sub with them. Best BBC drama of 2021.

No matter what I could not get past Justice Smiths ridiculous voice, that's all I have to say, dumbest, deepest voice that has no place in entertainment.

Warning: Spoilers
I don't know what movie these reviewers watched but this film was awful. Slow, boring and just weird which pretty much sums up Nicholas Cages career for the past 15 years. I have no idea why it's being compared to revenge movies or John Wick, it's neither, just a self important vanity project that misfires on every level. Dull and boring.

Utterly magnificent
24 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This is tv at its best, and I couldn't stop watching it. It was very funny and extremely cringe full all at the same time. Every character was brilliant and you bought into every thread as the story went along. Some stand out performances by Murray Bartlet, Jennifer Coolidge and Steve Zahn and the younger cast were awesome. It made me squirm, embarrassed me and rolled around laughing and few programs can do that, and it's down to the epic writing and overall production. I absolutely loved it!

21 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
After a trilogy of fantastic robot laden sci fi movies I was excited to see what the director would do next, but this is a bizarre sci fi horror movie with such a strange premise that it was never going to work. I did get a slightly nostalgic feel to some 80's Lovecraftian films like The Kindred or From Beyond, and I get that lockdown made it hard for film making, but this fell way short of entertaining. It would have worked way better as a tv series but this felt too condensed and a bit far out there for me.

Quite preposterous
20 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
A mess of a movie, awful story and not sure what it was trying to be, sci fi, romance, eco thriller, action drama, junkie flick, missing persons, it's all there! The plot is just stupid and goes off in so many directions you can't tell which bits you are supposed to take seriously. Whoever came up with the idea maybe should have focused on 1 area and ran with that, rather than trying to capture every possible genre in a 2hr flick.

I really like this film, reminiscent of the Hitchcock chase moves like The 39 Steps and North by Northwest. It's kept me guessing and you do feel for the main character and his escapades. I was captivated throughout and it's was very exciting. Highly recommended.

Wow what a film! I'm not going to spoil anything but this film starts as one movie and finishes as a totally different one and I am still reeling over the last 15 mins. Film making at its finest and one that will stay in the mind for a while. Outstanding.

Warning: Spoilers
Such a dumb movie, with Chloe's character that goes from being assured and confident at the start of the movie to a wreck who continually keeps getting overpowered by a 9 fingered old lady. I guess she must enjoy being tied up as she ends up bound on the bed on numerous occasions. The cops are made to look like Police Squad, totally useless and incapable of helping her evade her stalker. On the whole it's a load of old tosh, but Chloe always gives her all in everything she does and her performance is very good.
