12 Days of Giving (2017)
Dumped Netflix ... thank God
I keep finding these movies on my Roku- all with messages of kindness, gratitude etc... less slick than Hollywierd but each one with its own beauty.
Thank you to all makers of these films that cause the heart to open up and hope.
The Lorax (2012)
Propaganda, poorly written at that. Don't waste your time or money.
Wow. It truly is possible to take a great kids' book and screw it into an awful movie. The ONLY reason I ended up buying tickets is because the Air Show I was going was undergoing some heavy rain... so the kids and I went to this, this, I don't what to call it except PROPAGANDA. As I walked out, I did say out loud that I wish I could get my money back. The Lorax is nothing more than this: "Big corporations are bad". Silly sheep, if a company makes money out of chopping trees... it is logical that the same company would grow those trees on a continual basis. Tired of this drum being beaten time after time, channel after channel, radio show after radio show that trees are good, big business is bad. The only reason I did not walk out of the movie is that I knew it was still raining outside and my young daughter was enjoying the 3-D effects. I even took a short nap at some point during the movie. No, there's really nothing good to say about this movie except that it was a time killer during bad weather.
