The Who Rocks America 1982 (1983)
What a great show this was...
I have this on Hi-Fi Stereo VHS and man I loved this show. I sure wish it could be released on DVD. My tape is now degraded and has many dropouts in both sound and video. I really believe this is one of the last shows that captures ALL of them at the top of their game. Roger's voice does show some signs of giving up but it really is a great show. If you can find a good used copy somewhere scoop it up because it is good! Come on Pete, remaster it to DVD ! This was supposed to be their "Farewell" tour from North America but of course they have returned to the U.S. several times since then but each time seeming to lose just a little bit of that chemistry that made them so famous.
Enterprise (2001)
Not as bad as some say
I have watched EVERY episode and suffice to say I do like it. It IS NOT your usual Trek series though. At least with this Xindi thing you really cannot miss an episode without "losing track" of things. For example I heard many people complain about how Tupol was so emotional and irrational in the series finale and how this could not happen. Well when you watch the first episode of the new season we find out why this happened. This is why if you miss an episode some things make no sense. It is something like a sci-fi soap opera. They do screw some things up in relation to timelines with the other Trek series but as a whole it is, in my opinion, much better than alot of the other garbage programming being force fed to us. I think their character development is progressing nicely though the series lacks the overall excitement of STNG. I truly hope it remains for several more years.
