Good Feeling Film ,Uplifting Music
11 October 2005
I Want to say this film was great . Such powerful music and a nice story of the inner workings of the church . i really enjoyed seeing Tamyra Gray in her film debut as the lover interest of Boris Kodjoe's character . Tamyra's 2 beautiful and powerful ballads were among the highlights of this film .I also thought that the rest of the cast were good as well of course . Boris Kodjoe seemed to be right as the perfect lead man in this film and Nona Gaye did very well also in her role as did Idis Elba . Omar Gooding was a good choice as the business partner in the shady industry of popular music which is where Boris Kodjoe began the film in as a performer . His Usher moves were pretty funny i thought. overall a great film and i look forward to seeing Tamyra Gray who did so well in this film in more roles .

Tamyra Gray in Macy's Parade
15 January 2005
tamyra gray was incredible in the macy's parade .her version of "shakalaka baby" was really nice .tamyra did not perform this song in "bombay dreams" however but she showed off all her skills very well.another song with a connection to this talented singer, songwriter and entertainer was the song "i believe" performed by fantasia during the parade was co written by ms gray . tamyra also co-wrote 12 out of the 13 songs on her cd "the dreamer" a very incredible cd which everyone should check out . the rest of the parade was alright with other Broadway casts and popular singers of the day and of course the floats . however no one could top the incredible performance of tamyra gray with the cast of "bombay dreams".
