All over the place, but watchable (kinda)
19 February 2023
The show literally should be right up my alley. Derby girls + Black mirror, but the whole thing is completely disjointed. Also, why are all the kids dressing and partying to the 90's, but they all have cell phones? I don't get that, but okay whatever. It's like trying to give you a stranger things vibes by using nostalgia (old tunes/dress etc), but again with 2023 tech. And then the fact that like all the bad things that are happening are attached to the cell phone, like literally just turn off your cell, take the sim out, or throw the cell phone in the river and be done with it! I really wanted to like it, but it's pretty much all over the place.

Why?
21 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I was so bored by this episode & I feel like all the storylines are just repeating itself over & over again. Also, why does IMDB make this character count now? I mean when an episode is just bad, and you want to let others know you really don't need to write a novel about it. Obviously, I've always loved Yellowstone but this episode was a new low. It was so ridiculous about all of that preaching constantly and then all of the characters basically doing nothing and then just talking nonsense the entire episode it was like oh my God is anything gonna happen the old man died who cared like blah, blah, blah nothing good.

Bad Sisters (2022– )
10/10
Wow
16 October 2022
I don't have anything important to say, but I think this show deserves more credit for how entertaining & smart & funny it was. All the characters were so interesting & played to perfection by all involved. I especially enjoyed the youngest sister & her insurance guy love interest. I thought they were really believable & fun to watch. All the sisters were believable in their roles, and they all had amazing chemistry. The dude that played John Paul was really good too because he was so fun to hate. He Musta had a really fun time playing that role b/c he was just so over the top bad. I like how it all played out. I wasn't sure at first, but after 3 episodes I found myself checking Apple + daily waiting for the next episode & eventually Friday became my favorite day of the week b/c I knew I could watch another episode of this show. It was really well done. I enjoyed the ending too. Really good show.

Really, really, really entertaining
30 September 2022
WOW! I'm a 40 year old female, so I don't think this movie was gonna be for me, but I was wrong. What a movie. I was entertained throughout-I didn't look at my phone once! That's when you know it's a good one. I also haven't laughed that hard in a min. Really great! This character count is killing me RN b/c you don't need to read reviews like they're copied & pasted from movie critic websites, you just need to know that the movie was good right?! Well, I'm trying to tell you that it is, but IMDB insists on making sure I write 600 characters about it, so shout out to the dude from Atlanta & Brad MF'n Pit. I loved it.

Don't listen to bad reviews like me
24 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Or do listen, and then when you see it you will be pleasantly surprised. Movie was an 8 but gave it a 10 for the poor rating that prevented me from seeing/watching the movie when it first came out. Don't be like me, or do, and be pleasantly surprised.

Love, love, love it
21 April 2022
Blown away. I get it, it's hammy, but it works for me. Not all shows have to be House of cards or whatever, like it's okay to throw in some ridiculousness. I really like it. The episodes were so short, like and I binged it so fast that I just don't even know what to say other than don't listen to the negative reviews honestly. I need more of this show and now I'm pissed reading some of the negative reviews. I too like everyone else I'm shocked that it wasn't picked up by something like Netflix or whatever but damn.

Soooo good to see you Issa Rae.
16 April 2022
Hey Issa Rae. Issa plays Wanda Well, and the storyline an episode is really beautiful and entertaining, but it's hard for me not to want her to be her full INSECURE self. God I miss that show. So good to see you.

I think it's spot on. I don't get the low rating. I mean it's got Kyle McLachlan for Christ sake!!! I for one think it's really well done. I honestly can't believe that's not the real Joe too. The guy who plays joe is great. I think they're all great in their roles.

I get ppl might be over Amy, but damn if this show isn't perfect in almost every way. I was laughing so hard my mom had to come in to see what show I was watching. It's rather touching too. Really a perfect vehicle for Amy's return, and I for one am loving it. I am a single, white, 40 y/o female, so I'm assuming I am the target demographic, but yeah, I love it.

Finally getting good
17 February 2022
This episode is what I wabted the whole season to be like. I don't know if I'm just warming up to the actors who portray the characters or what, but this episode ran more like a HBO show than a CBS show. I really liked this one. I gave it a 10 start up the ratings for all of it.

I don't care what anyone says, this is so good. If you like your comic book stuff with jokes this one is for you. It's really good you guys. Everyone is fantastic. I had no idea I would like John Cena in anything, but god damn, he blow me away, they all did. It was great to see that chick from oranges the new block again too.

And Just Like That...: Hello It's Me (2021)
Season 1, Episode 1
8/10
I kinda wasn't feeling it, but it grew on me towards the end. I will keep watching.
9 December 2021
So, I definitely see what the other people are saying about the cringe worthiness of it all. I must admit there were quite a few bumps in the road throughout this episode, especially in the beginning. Like others have said, it did make it difficult to watch at times, but when it got into its groove-it really got there. It hit home for me around the time of Charlotte's daughter's piano recital, and then of course Big's shower scene. Those scenes alone were enough to hook me back in. Hopefully they will work out some of those bumps in the coming episodes because there was quite a few parts that were hard to watch, but it really did hit home there at the end, and I am once again a fan. I cried during the piano recital scene which was unexpected seeing how the first half of the episode was going. They need to fire these PC writers. I'm a liberal, and I still can't stand it. The writers are being far too obvious, & it's just plain weird, & uncomfortable for the viewer. I do miss Samantha (Kim Cattrall) a lot though, and I don't like how they're deliberately going out of their way to include all these black ppl like they're trying to make up for not casting them throughout the entire 9 season run of the Sex & The City series. Like WTF?! All the gay stuff too. Like, it's totes fine to talk about those issues, or gave black/LGBTQ + actors/actresses, but the way the way in which they are represented here just made it downright awkward & annoying AF. Thank God for the last 5-10 min, or am I not sure I could see myself sticking around. It looks like I'm not alone either.

Now that's how we do it. Amazing end to the episode. That was seriously the Intense, edge-of-your-seat, Narcos action that we all came here for. God damn.

Off to a cringey start
16 October 2021
So many bad lines & unrealistic behavior, but somehow it pulls you in near the end to keep you going even though you know it's already way off the rails & not in the way it intends. It's really trying too hard in the first couple of episodes, but the more you watch it, the more you can forgive all the ridiculousness & just downright terrible convos. You really have to be forgiving watching this, but luckily it does get a bit more gripping, and you start to just accept it for what it is & keep going. I'm not surprised if a lot of people stop after one episode though.

Bravo!!!! What. an. Espisose! This is the penith!!!!
15 August 2021
I mean, come on! If you're not in love with this show by now then I don't know what to tell you. This episode is looking to be the highest rated episode on IMDB yet! DAVE hit the high-note as a finale worthy of the Journey that we, the audience, and the characters, deserved. The journey was a series of growing pains where everyone struggled, failed, tried, grew, got rejected, fell back, failed again, struggled some more, then slowly became more self aware, more motivated, more self-assured, ultimately seeking Enlightenment, and therefore becoming reborn as Artist and finally succeeding and making their dreams come true. I can't wait to see what the future holds. Now to mentally prepare for the Oh-so dreaded year-long-wait for what no doubt will be a green light for season 3 of DAVE. The VMA performance really solidified Dave as a legitimate Musical talent & performer. I'm so impressed with everyone's performance on this show, and I continue to be completely taken by Dave & Gat's outstanding performances. The entire cast is so talented. It's rare to get to see them shine as bright as they do here. This episode did well to highlight not only their musical genius but their range as actors as well. I will no doubt be staying tuned for season 3. Thank you for this show.

The Morning Show (I) (2019– )

Woah!
7 August 2021
So, I don't know what took me so long, but it's literally one month away from season 2 (being it's August 2021 RN) and I just started watching season one yesterday. I found that once I started it I couldn't turn it off. I don't know if I didn't watch before because it b/c of the triggers, or b/c it was staring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, but GD is it good. I also was a little hesitant watching it seeing as how I was with completely obsessed the HBO show 'the newsroom' & I thought this show could never be as well made as that one, but honestly this show comes pretty close to that level of sophistication, and I'm shocked & happily surprised. I mean I was one of the people who did watch Matt Lauer every day on the morning for a number of years, so I guess on some level it's very real, and while the way that they portray some of the characters are at times frustrating- they are also very well thought out, and flawed & I applaud them for that. The show really is surprisingly clever & raw in a number of ways, and I really didn't know what to expect, but I did not expect it to so intelligently written. Kudos to Apple + for the show. I mean really great work. I just got through with the California wildfire episode, and the way they used the fire destruction as symbolism for what's going on with each character on the show was really impressive. I did not expect this level of quality. I can't wait for season two. P. S., I wonder what Matt Lauer is doing these days? I'm about to go down to google hole.

10 July 2021
Thank you for making this one. I low key disliked the 1st, but I knew I would obviously still watch it. I was prepared to be let down by this one but I am like fully prepared to say that that's one of the best horror movies I've come out this year. Great job all around.

This episode was amazing! The scene where the group was taken hostage by the "F. B. I" really solidified my 10 star rating. I mean you can't get a better scene in television than that! The actors really shine , and the dialogue is so impressive. I just love everything about it. What a great f'n episode. Well done. *10 stars isn't enough stars*

22 September 2020
Just watch 1993 movie 'the vanishing' with Sandra Bullock, Jeff Bridges & Kiefer Sutherland instead. It's literally the exact same movie but much better. It also takes place in the PNW. This movie is a cheap Knock off. It's also not as entertaining.

It's pretty bad
21 September 2020
You can honestly just fast forward the whole first hour of the movie. I think it supposed to be character development, and it keeps hinting of things to come, but you honestly could not care less. Everyone is super unlikeable, so when the film finally gets to where you already know it's going, you're totally fine with it. Kill them all please. Boy bye.

I like it
18 September 2020
I'm not sure what all the fuss is about with the critics on this one. It's everything you would expect from a Ryan Murphy production. I really enjoyed it. It might be a little tame on the horror, but I appreciated the more Hitchcock style of implied doom. I think the critics got it wrong. If you like American horror story then you're going to like it. Try not to let other people lower your expectations and just enjoy the stylish production. I might be biased because I'm all things Ryan Murphy, but I don't get the hate for this one. I don't even like Sarah Paulson, and I still thought it was well done and enjoyable. Just sit back and enjoy.
