The X Files (1993)
Fan of "The X-Files"
I really love "The X-Files" series, I'm a fan. It was in 1994 or 1995 here in Québec (if someone know the first air-date of "Ghost in the Machine" in Qc, tell me, I'm really curious!) and just after seeing it, I said to my mom "Why didn't you tell me that it was on TV??? You know that I love these things so much!" OK, back at the moment I was only 9 or 10 y.-o., X-Files was at 9:00 PM and my mom decided to record for me every episode, each Thursday night in TQS (before it went at Z-Télé some years later). I was watching it the day after. Then, I became a huge fan of the series, even watching the original English episodes at Fox Television by 1997. 10/10 for the entire series!
The X Files: Ghost in the Machine (1993)
My first time!
Yup! I can say that this episode was my first time! It was in 1994 or 1995 here in Québec (if someone know the first air-date of "Ghost in the Machine" in Qc, tell me, I'm really curious!) and just after seeing it, I said to my mom "Why didn't you tell me that it was on TV??? OK, back at the moment I was only 9 or 10 y.-o., X-Files was at 9:00 PM and my mom decided to record for me every episode, each Thursday night in TQS (before it went at Z-Télé some years later). I was watching it the day after. Then, I became a huge fan of the series, even watching the original English episodes at Fox Television by 1997. If "Ghost in the Machine" is not the best episode of the entire series, it's not the worst and it was enough good to make me think I will love the others stories, really.
Black Christmas (1974)
One of my favorites slasher film
I like it! I can already understand why people don't love it 'cause it's old for my generation (I'm 19, but I first saw the film in December 2001 when I was 16), but for me it's the movie that make a form to "Halloween" (1978), "When a stranger calls" (1979)... I think that Black Christmas is a little bit inspired by a strange slasher film of 1973, "Silent Night, Bloody Night". But if B.C. has a merit, is to be original for this time, it has a twist-end and it's the first Canadian slasher, with good and popular actors (Olivia Hussey, Keir Dullea, Margot Kidder and John Saxon). In 2002, the sequel from this film was supposed to be realized (by Bob Clark again, I think, and with Olivia H. and John S. back in their original role) and I was waiting with big fun for this but it didn't come (like in 1975 when B. Clark decided to refused to make the sequel that was planned to be call "Halloween", with a strange neighbour plot to the John Carpenter's Halloween in 1978), with regret!
