Prodigy

Bo Burnham has been my favorite comedian for a long time now. This class act was seen for the first time on a Comedy Central Special where the crowd didn't really get his jokes. So he had to sing his songs slower for them to get it. Words, Words, Words is loaded with unbelievably offensive songs and jokes that is bound to tickle your funny bone. This guy delivers his best in his first and only special. He rose to fame with you tube, and now people check him out because he's Zach Stone. But for anyone who likes stand up comedy, this act is a must see. No matter how many times you watch this special of his, it isn't enough.

Bettany Stewart combo doesn't work..... again!
27 September 2013
This American supernatural film with its equally supernatural action scenes directed by Scott Stewart was as disappointing as Legion (a movie from which I had a lot of hopes but had disappointed, terribly) Stewart's previous directing venture.

Based on the Korean comic of the same name, the movie starts well with a well shot dream of the priest named Priest (Bettany) followed by the impressive comic sketches and you feel that the Stewart-Bettany combo might finally have something to be proud of, but as the movie progresses, right after the death of the beautiful Madchen Amick and the confession room scene, the movie looses every bit of interest gained from the first few minutes.

In the movie everyone has the same cool high tech bikes which are a treat to watch, apart from the converted vampires who get regular dirt bikes (no wonder they were falling everywhere while chasing Maggie Q, give them better bikes Keith Urban!!). Apart from the classy bikes, the train owned by Black Hat (the antagonist Keith Urban's lame name) is also a treat to look at. Visually the movie might look great but one thing that Stewart still hasn't realized is you cant make a movie based on action scenes and 3D, you also need a good script.

I would say this vampire killing Priest doesn't have enough cross shaped daggers to make it a good movie. I respect Paul Bettany but the guy needs to realize that if he wants to become a leading man, he needs to look somewhere else apart from Stewart. And Scott Stewart, no offense but direction ain't your thing. You have been a part of some masterpieces as a visual effects developer (Lost World, Goblet of Fire, Sin City, Pirates 3 & 4, Iron Man) and should continue in that line.

Best Part: Priest: What good is that faith when its a lie. (Bettany style)

Worst Part: Maggie Q throws two rocks in the air and Bettany jumps and steps on them to get higher. Were these guys high???

P.S.: For all the True Blood fans. It also stars Stephen Moyer!!
