Lost in Space: Kidnapped in Space (1967)
Major Goof through out the Series!
They keep saying they are going to other Galaxies but that would be Impossible and Absurd! If they are going to Alpha Centauri which is only 4.5 light years from Earth, they're in the Same Milky Way Galaxy! They have no need to go to Another Galaxy! If they landed on a planet they would be further than Alpha Centauri because its the closest Star System to ours.... Any planets they encounter wouldn't be as close to their original destination! If they were going to another Galaxy they would be long dead before ever reaching it because of the distance, time & lack of supplies to sustain them! They would not even make it across our own Galaxy!
Clearcut (1991)
Red Road is Hardcore
I first saw this when it came out and was also being introduced to the Sweat Lodge and Peyote ceremony by some Local Chumash up in Ojai. Got to actually do a sweat lodge with Floyd Red Crow a few years afterwards. It's pretty intense path for those willing to experience it!
The Trollenberg Terror (1958)
Aliens 👾
I remember seeing this as a kid in the 60s. I think it was the first time I saw Aliens depicted on TV. It always seemed be there in the back of my mind when looking for old SciFi movies but I didn't know what it was called. Probably should have known lol, Interesting seeing it again also reminds me of the Infamous Flying Eye from a Grateful Dead Concert Poster & the Book Cover from The Dead by Hank Harrison.
The X Files: The Beginning (1998)
What happened to the alien skin evidence?
I love the x-files but I'm rewatching for the umpteenth time & notice how many plot holes keep bugging me. Mulder finds the alien skin in the reactor but for some unknown reason he doesn't keep it as evidence? Also how many episodes running around without a camera to document proof but instead are missing every opportunity without one. I know they had to in order to build up the tension for dramatic effect but it's frustrating watching professional investigation but failing to collect basic evidence at every turn.
The Girl in the Spider's Web (2018)
Follow the Story or else fail.
This adaptation of the book is in name only. Doesn't make any sense when they cut out so much of the storyline & rewrite it into disconnected mess of scenes that fail to connect the dots.
It's probably why it failed at the box office. They butchered it like the Hollywood remake of the original Dragon Tattoo.
