The Good Place: Everything Is Bonzer! (2018)
Bad accents
I love the show, but as an Australian, the attempted Aussie accents in this are just awful. It's fine when Michael does it because they acknowledge that it's bad. If you think I'm being harsh, you just don't realise how stupid these people would sounds of they spoke with that accent in Australia. Listen to the Hemsworth brother in episode 3 for a comparison.
The Office: Tallahassee (2012)
May be the funniest episode.
When Dwight pulled down the projector screen I was in tears laughing. I had to pause and rewind it like 10 times. And Jim's hotel room prank was hilarious aswell. There were so many moments that made me truly laugh out loud. Love this episode, it sees the cast at their comedic best
The Orville: Sanctuary (2019)
Not perfect but still a very good episode.
There's not much to dislike about this episode, the writing was good and unpredictable and the dialogue was exceptional and well delivered by the cast. My only criticism was that the society of women moclans were so well armed and seemingly prepared to defend themselves against an attack when the orville showed up, but couldn't even do the job later that Kelly and Bortus were able to do on their own in 30 seconds.
But I can forgive this because a strong storyline is more important than realistic gun fights. And the Dolly Parton stuff made me laugh. That feminist review that gave it 1 star is idiotic.
The Orville: Nothing Left on Earth Excepting Fishes (2019)
Best episode yet
In this episode we see Ed and Kelly take their most convincing step yet in convincing us that they're actually moving on from their relationship by pursuing separate love interests without hinting at any jealously towards eachother. I was happy to see this because I'd like to think that the writers could let them forget about eachother romantically for a few seasons so we get more amazing episodes like this one, and less average ones focused around the uninteresting and unrelatable relationship issues of the crew (e.g: S2e2 where horny, angry Bortus gets 'divorce stabbed' for repeatedly ditching his husband for future porn).
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode from start to finish. I was completely on-board for the ride, finding myself totally empathising with Captain Mercer throughout the journey. It's hard to say much more without giving spoilers. There's been so many great episodes already in the short time this show has been around, but for me this is the best episode yet. Brilliantly written and wonderfully played by the whole cast.
My only disappointment was that we didn't see Isaac at all and as we all know... Isaac is awesome.
Can't wait for next week!
