His Dark Materials: Lyra and Her Death (2022)
I'm so close to stop watching this show
I'm watching the show because I don't wanna leave it so close to the end, but I've less and less desire every next episode. I haven't read the books, so I'll comment only the show. NO ONE CARES ABOUT ROGER! It is becoming annoying the situation with Roger, and the Lyra character if you ask me. The plot has become so branched that it lost its purpose. There is no main story anymore. Lyra became some spoiled, out of control, self centered child so much that I don't see her as the good guy since season 2. To be honest, I'm seriously considering for supporting the magisterium to evaporate her. Plot holes as much as you want. Final review will have 10.000 caracters, not 600.
The Sandman: 24/7 (2022)
Wrong, wasted episode for this show!
If it was a episode of "Black mirror" I would give it an 8/10, but here, not even 1/10. It's too long just to prove a point, to show defects in people. Wasted time, wasted episode. A good writer in a good show would have done it in 10 instead of 40 minutes. Lame. This whole show is lame and so sloooooow (dude, literally everyone is walking like half mile/hour) but this episode is the worst so far. It looks like they had written material for 5 episodes, but Netflix stretched it to 11 and had to fill episodes like this with pointless small talks and unnecessary sex scenes. But, that's Netflix, their way...
Two and a Half Men: Nice to Meet You, Walden Schmidt (2011)
So disrespectful!!!
The 8th season was a serious downfall about Charlie's character, full of unjustified and uncharacteristic Charlie's decisions. They made a pathetic man from a legend. And this first episode of 9th season was so disrespectful to Charlie's character that put tears in my eyes. So many bad jokes I've not heard even from stupid child. Shameful and sad!!! NO reason to do so.
The Witcher (2019)
Far from high budget 2019 serial!
This is faaaar from something that should be announced as blockbuster tv serial in 2019. The cast is a little strange, the acting a little bit bad and most of the time is like theatre acting, not movie acting, the scenographie looks so artificial (especialy the interiors, high polished compleks floors, stone with no natural looks etc.), and the visiual effects... Oh, they are so bad that on moments reminds me on the visuals of "The adventures of Sinbad" from 1996. Very poor quality for such rich production and in 2019. I literaly burst in laugh when the "dragon" appeared and started talking. Shame! "Dragon heart" from 1996 has done a better job. The masive fight scenes are lame, not exciting at all, cold. And whats with Netflix and the stupid reflector-like lights in background? Especialy in the woods whrere the dryads are living. The were light sources (reflectors) in every corner. And theese types of lights I have seen in other Netflix movies (Anihilation, Bright...). Maybe they are considered as some kind of benchmark...
And the story telling!? Sometimes you don't know if the happening is it now, is it from 15 years ago, from 100 ago... The flashbacks are not represented in a diferent way than the present acts. The actors looks like same age even the scenes are 15 or more years apart. And in 8 episodes we get to see only 2 monsters and a couple od strange looking creatures? Boring, at least.
Pros: Henry Cavill's fight scenes are pleasant to watch. Nothing else is atractive in the show.
Life (2017)
Worst cliche ending! It's not funny anymore.
The movie is relatively good, great effects, a little disappointed by the crew on ISS and their inappropriate reactions in many situations (but for that it can be forgiven because of the nature and the instinct to survive at the moment, no matter the consequences on the environment)... The creature was good, even there were some unexplained facts about it, but at least it behaved as an mollusk animal, it didn't braked 5 inch glass or metal. But what's about the stupid ending? Will every Hollywood movie end like this? It's not funny, it's not original, not scary, or else. It's disappointing, boring! Makes you to give a movie 4-5 stars lower rating than you wanted to. It's cliche. There is no moral in a story, a movie or else if you don't end it the way the plot was leading to. Plus, if you have no intention to make a second part of the movie, this ending is not bringing you any good. Not at all!
