Yashoda (2022)
Outdated, Illogical, Senseless, Immature
Though they had good storyline, director could not handle it and made it look like an amateur attempt. 2 parallel stories running don't help viewers in anyway. First half is somewhat watchable but 2nd half can't be tolerated. Direction is so immature that you just laugh at the screenplay and dialogues. Better avoid and don't waste your time. Godfather (2022)
Chiranjeevi is done and dusted!
We can't see Chiranjeevi in these kinda roles please. He is destroying his own image by doing this kinda of movies which he built over last 3-4 decades. Salman Khan was even worse. Not sure why chose this role. Only saving grace of the movie was Sathya Dev. He is the only one who didn't look like wooden character and acted really well. Nobody else, even Chiranjeevi will disappoint you. Original movie has different kind of feeling to it. While remaking they just made normal and routine mass movie with no soul at all. Only slow motion shots won't give the elevation. You need to have proper writing and screenplay as well.
Cuttputlli (2022)
Laziest and Stupidest remake of a masterpiece!
I never seen such a lazily remade movie of a masterpiece. Really shocked to see such pathetic writing and direction of cutputhli. None of the character is developed properly mainly killer's character as it is undercooked. Better to avoid and save your time. Akshay Kumar's acting is becoming montonous nowadays. Just avoid this and better watch original again.

VR (Vikrant Rona) (2022)
Rangitaranga remake and huge headache!
Watched it yesterday. Movie is not at all good. Really disappointed after the hype and expectations. I can see the frustration of people coming out of theatre. They have just taken the same script of Rangitaranga and changed the characters, but they couldn't recreate the essence of Rangitaranga which was a beautiful movie. There is no Saikumar to save VR movie. First half is really boring and you can see people yawning or hooked to their mobiles. Script is too convoluted and audience don't enjoy anything. Unwanted songs makes you sleepy. Better to avoid it and watch it in OTT when it releases.
Mugil Pete (2021)
Outdated, Cliched and Crap
I felt like writing a review for this movie after I couldn't withstand this holy crap for not even half an hour on OTT. Why this kind of movies are still being made in KFI. Some directors are still in mungaru male hangover. Unable to come out of it and trying to make same old and outdated stories. Don't make stories of 2000s decade in 2020s atleast. Ravichandran's son doesn't have any screen presence at all. Please stop spoiling your father popularity.
Ombatthane Dikku (2022)
Time waste! Avoid at any cost!
I wasted my precious 2 hours of sunday watching this crap on Prime video. Not sure what Dayal found in original and remade it. Movie is really worse. No proper story or screenplay. Very lazily made. No effort put in to even make a decent movie. Terrible direction. Only likeable character in the movie is Aditi Prabhudeva. She is the only saviour in this crap.

Bad Movie, Murali should rethink
Watched this movie on prime video. Giving 2 stars just for the effort they put in to making. Nothing is good in the movie. Worst story, Bad direction, Horrible dialogues. Couldn't believe director had directed Ayogya before. Murali should come out of Ugramm hangover and try to make different kind of movies. Felt bad for the producer who has spent so much money on this crap.
Story or screenplay doesn't even hold your attention for 2 minutes. Jagapathi babu just screams in all scenes. Wasted such a big actor and made him look like a dummy actor. Dialogues are silly and cringy. After Ugramm, Murali has given only one watchable movie i.e mufti. I think he should really think before accepting new films.
Roberrt (2021)
Not sure how it became a hit!
I went with lot of expectations and movie turned out be even below average. First half gives lot of build up to hero and they couldn't even justify 1% of it in second half. I felt as if I was watching 1980s movie. Unnecessary same old fights with no logic. I doubted whether the director was the same guy who directed Chowka before. Robert is no where near to his previous film Chowka. These kinda movies are pulling down Kannada industry from rising the standards up.
Prithvi (2010)
Realistic movie from Appu
This has to be one of the finest movies of power star. He is usually known for making commercial movies. But surprisingly this movie was realistic in approach. It didn't have unrealistic fights and masala. It has social message with artistic touch. Whenever I watch this, I get reminded of Hindi movie Gangajal. As far as I know, this movie didn't make lot of money due to lack of masala in it. But hats off to Appu to accept and act in it. He has excelled in portraying as honest IAS officer amongst corrupt politicians and other officials appointed at mining capital Bellary.
2.0 (2018)
Bad Story and Screenplay. Excellent VFX
I had watched Robot movie so many times and never got bored of that movie ever. That movie had everything. Story, Screenplay, Twists, Graphics. Went with some expectations to watch 2.0. While watching the movie, I was thinking, really Shankar is the director of this movie. Is this the same guy who directed Indian, Boys, Anniyan, Mudhalvan, Robot etc. All his previous movies except Vikram's I had content. After watching Bahubali they also wanted to come up with something big on screen. They spent money like water on VFX. Wish had they spent some time on screenplay and story as well. Mobiles flying and some fight scenes becomes repetitive after sometime. Just because they have spent hell lot of effort on creating Graphics, they will overload the screen with same lame fights. I didn't understand how Pakshi Rajan became villian. Akshay Kumar as ornithologist who feels for birds is excellent and that's the only character in the movie I liked. He dies and comes back as Pakshi Rajan to kill people. In simple terms, he is a ghost. But in movie they used some scientific terms like Oura, positive negative energy which nobody understands. There are some scenes which references to Shankar's old movies Anniyan. Story is too predictable. For stadium fight, they have spent lot of money, time and effort but still it doesn't have any impact. They focused only on bringing Visually rich movie ever made in India but forgot the basics of cinema i.e WRITING good story, screenplay and dialogues! Go if you want to watch some good VFX.
Ulidavaru Kandanthe (2014)
Very disappointed!
I had lot of expectations on this movie but instead of living upto it, it actually made me lose hopes on over hyped movies. It taught me just don't go and watch movie only because trailer is good or same production's last movie SOLS was different. I would like to rate this movie 3 because of the excellent photography which was completely wasted by bad script and damn slow narration which will make you very boring and lose your patience.
After watching this movie, many questions raised in my mind such as why did they make this movie? what was the intention? did they wanted us to entertain or bore to death? they wanted to show even KFI can make experimental movies? what was the story in movie?
First half is watchable because it makes us think there something in movie which is going to be revealed soon and they are trying to build the story. But what you watch in second half actually? Damn boring scenes.. some are so long and repeated, you feel as if you are watching some daily soap. I don't know how many times I yawned while watching it.
Avoid this movie if you belong to smart audience. I just want to say, kannada audience are not so fools to watch whatever crap you make if you say I am making an experimental which is never done before.
Son of Sardaar (2012)
Not so good compared to original!!
SOS is remake of telugu movie "Maryade Ramanna" which is also a remake of kannada movie "balagalittu olage baa'!! but all these movies are inspired by Hollywood "our hospitality" !! I have watched maryade ramanna in telugu directed by rajmouli of Eega and Magadheera fame.. telugu version is really awesome.. you don't move even for a second while watching it..
I expected a lot from SOS.. but SOS is completely different .. in marayada ramanna , lead character is not portrayed like a hero who can beat bunch of guys single handedly.. but in SOS, sardaar is a macho hero which completely contradicts the story.. Ajay Devgn really lost an excellent opportunity making of a classic thriller by trying to please masses.. i couldn't understand whether it is a comedy or action or thriller movie.. Me being die hard fan of Ajay Devgn got really disappointed with this..!!!
Hulchul (1995)
Watch it for Devgan!!!
I watched this movie first time 10 years before and liked it very much!! Again I watched it today on TV and refreshed the old memories!! It is a must watch for a Ajay Devgn Fan!!
At that time, Ajay was mostly known for action movies.. Ajay's crispy dialogue delivery, brooding eyes and superb acting makes it a good watch!! It is a visual treat when Ajay and Amrish Puri face off each other with intensive dialogues emoting mostly with eyes without going overboard or mindless shouting!! Kajol doesn't have much to show, songs are average, Vinod Khanna, Ronit Roy and Kader Khan are good at their roles!! I had become a huge fan of Ajay at that time only and liked his initial 90's movies like Jigar, Vijaypath etc !!
