Gran Turismo (2023)
A lot better than I expected!
I started watching this movie with mixed feelings. I am a gamer but my gaming of Gran Turismo has been very limited. I wasn't sure about a movie about that game. To my surprise, it was about a lot more than just that. The story is very compelling. And the fact that is based on a true story, made it mor so. The acting was very good. David Harbour was awesome. The fact that the real life Jann was the stunt double for the actor playing him was also very cool. The visuals are also very well done. Movies involving a video game can be hit or miss. I would definitely put this movie on the hit column.
Star Trek: Voyager: Warhead (1999)
Great episode, but...
Why was Kim in command? There's at least one more ensign who's been on Voyager just as long and is wearing a red command uniform.
Star Trek: Voyager: Initiations (1995)
Explain this.
If Chakotay was able to do the solitude ritual in his quarters as he did at the end, what was the point of having to take a shuttle away from Voyager? You would think a shuttle would be a valuable asset for a starship so far away from home.
The Vanished (2020)
Worth a watch.
Interesting story with an unexpected ending. I saw some reviewers complain about the acting, but truth be told, while no Oscar performances, they're ok.
In the Dark (2019)
Wasted time.
Some of the worse acting I've seen in a while. It is obvious they put very little research into everything. The main character is totally unbelievable as a blind person. I've never seen a blind person keep so much eye contact in conversations. All around waste of time.
Hard Kill (2020)
Absolutely awful!
This movie was like a cheese, poorly made high school film club project.
Liu lang di qiu (2019)
Being generous.
Watched it because all the hype. I've seen better acting in school plays. Characters boring and/ or annoying. Weak story. Is like they took parts from a dozen movies and patch the together. Waste of time.
The Titan (2018)
Miserable outcome.
Makes no sense! What do you get after the "success"? Just a single naked guy walking on a rocky, barren moon forever.
