Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
This one is for us, the lost generation
If you are reading this, before I write about the movie, I want to take a moment and thank @TomCruise
for this masterpiece. My father would have loved it (he was a pilot, may he rest in peace).
When I was a kid, my father took me to see the first Top Gun movie. I remember I wanted to be like my dad when I grow up.
3 years ago, I promised him I will take him to see the new Top Gun movie when its out. The movie got delay, and Covid-19 took my father's life.
This week, I went to the cinemas 3 times, alone.
Every time i (re)watched it, same emotions, same pain, same love.
This is is by far the best Masterpiece Tom Cruise was ever a part of. Its a rollercoaster of emotions, too many flashbacks with just the right amount of humor and sarcasm.
Everyone says how the first movie is actually better than the second one. Not in this case, as TG:Maverick outshined its prequel and put a closure on the life of Captain (highly decorated) Pete Mitchell. Yes, he is still a captain, a highly decorated one.
The way the flight sequences were filmed is remarkable. Imagine a 60-year old Tom Cruise being crushed by actual G-forces in a jet fighter. Tom has aged a few years over the past 36, and this movie will be his legacy.
Will I watch it again in dolby and in Digital, and on Bluray? Most definitely.
Dara iz Jasenovca (2020)
The history of Serbian people made 80- years too late
From a perspective of a movie-lover, this is a 9/10 piece. From a perspective of a Serb (remember you haters, this is only one of the 2 perspectives), I believe that this movie came about 80 years too late. This part of history is something that every Serb born before the year of '99 knows. If you didn't know this about the Serbian people, everything is true, and even in a way "politely" described compared to what actually happened and the horrors that Serbian people suffered in Jasenovac.
However, the political scene on Balkan is already a "boiling pot". The hatred between Croatia and Serbia (One people, always have been, always will be, despite all the hate and politics) is real, and present. I feel that there is a political propaganda behind the movie, not only the "reminder of the horrors of Jasenovac" motif. That political motif is there to keep the hatred alive, and teach the new generations about the horrors of Jasenovac, and how Croatian people murdered, butchered and eviscerated Serbs during WWII.
I feel like the movie director was paid by some western forces to create a movie that will steer the hatred in Serbs to hate Croats even more, but also remind them that they hate each other. That, and also to keep the Balkan separated so that it can be easily (politically) manipulated and conquered in the future by those same Western Forces.
You tell me what is true. Overall, great movie, lots of "hard to swallow" scenes. The history (what actually happened in Jasenovac) is about 100x more horrifying than the scenes from the movie.

From tears of laughter to tears of joy and sadness
This movie... First I laughed, then I cried. It is a journey, at its finest. Bikovic is an exceptional actor, one worth all the praises. I enjoyed every single moment of the movie.
Always Be My Maybe (2019)
50 shades of Entertaining
Me and My girl watched the movie for one reason :It is produced by Netflix, it cannot be bad. We loved it!
It kept my attention the entire time, it was fun, pleasant and entertaining.
Creme de la creme is the song at the credits. So catchy, legit and hardcore! Loved every second of it.
Strongly recommended for all (couples).
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
The dawn of Best movies!
First of all, I need to warn everyone who have not seen the movie that there might be potential (not big) spoilers. Again, if you have not seen the movie, stay away... You have been warned!
This is by fat the best movie i have seen in my life for many reasons: -The story line is a combined version of multiple comics. -We see many comic book scenes in the movie -Batman is dark and harsh, cold yet still a hero -God bleeds! YES, GOD DOES BLEED!
Overall, I will make my kids watch this movie and forget all the previous Batmans. Sorry C.Bale, but B.Affleck just seized the glory! Cant wait for the sequels, JUSTICE LEAGUE WAR Pt. 1 and 2
Intouchables (2011)
An amazing journey
Probably among the most beautiful and breath taking movies I have ever seen. Tears of joy, laughter; such an amazing journey. Basically, When I first started watching this movie, I was open minded to see what is going to happen. Personally, I was always a big fan of a good laughter, but this movie is so much more than I have expected. I blew my mind, for it was much more than I expected...way more. And when the movie came to an end, all that I could was was curve in a ball and cry. I was happy, yet sad at the same time, and this movie brought the best in me while at the same time reminding me that it is the small things that make life beautiful. Small things count, for the big ones are expected.
