Married to the Kellys (2003–2004)
It was actually a good show. Why was it canceled?
26 March 2006
It was funny, the characters were likable as well as memorable, and ever though it was on for only a short amount of time, I miss watching it. perhaps what killed this show was probably the time slot. I know I had a hard time remembering what time it came on. Also, the way the networks throw in reality shows now really screws with how many episodes one show might have.

This show and NBC's Committed were two shows that I just can't understand being canceled. It's a shame. I'd like to see it come back. Perhaps after all the reality shows die out, the networks will get a clue.

The King of Queens (1998–2007)
Don't listen to Pepper Anne. KofQ is Hilarious
12 August 2004
I have to admit that when I first saw 'King of Queens' I was turned off by Leah Remini because I've seen her in other things and was not impressed. Also, because this was my first impression of the show, my viewpoint was kinda tainted, and the more I watched it, the more negative things I would find in it. Thus, more than three years pasted before I saw another episode. Man I was a fool. This show is great and extremely underrated I might add. There's not so much sophisticated humor as there is charm. Doug is like a big kid and Carrie (his wife) is more like a babysitter to his child like antics. Arthur (Carrie's Father) is in his own world most of the time, brain scheming wild scenarios that keep Doug and Carrie busy. These are lovable characters that in my opinion (which is shared by many) are formulaic only to The Honeymooners. The idea of this show being formulaic after shows like "Everybody Love Ramond" is utterly absurd. On the contrary, shows like "I'm Still Standing" are formulaic of "King of Queens" where they try pairing a fat middle aged guy with a hot wife only with kids. But it's not nearly as funny. "King of Queens" reins supreme. My sister bought me the complete first season. I watched the whole thing in like a day. I can't wait to get the second season.
