The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982)
I just love this movie!
What a joy to watch! Maybe you've got to like the good ol' Dolly Parton to enjoy the movie, I'm not sure. To speak for myself, I loveee Dolly and I loveee this movie! It leaves you with a smile on ya face!
+ = Dolly Parton + = The chemistry between Dolly & Burt Reynolds + = The clothing, such great dresses! + = The songs - = Some small scenes are terrible to watch, 'cuz they're supposed to be funny but aren't ;). Gotta watch yourself if you'll agree with me.
PS: Dolly Parton looks beautiful in this movie and I kinda feel bad that she now uses or have used botox and other injections. Because I believe no woman could have looked more beautiful that Dolly back in the days. So feminine and jolly! For all people a source of positive inspiration :)
Cloud Atlas (2012)
The message of this film needs to be fulfilled.
It is an amazing film, great actors and those graphic effects are outstanding. But it also contains a lot of violence, shame. It is only making the film worse, bloody. Above all there is a message in this film, a BIG one and a good one too! We need to focus on that. It is perfectly writing in the story lines of each character, so for any beautiful and catchy sentences you need to watch this film (you won't be disappointed, believe me). Spoiler alert, from now on. The message is pretty clear but everyone can give it his or hers little twist. In my opinion there was a big message to our food production industry, biomass. When the son mi were departed, they were made into 'soap' to feed the new son mi a.k.a. humans. Like chickens, cows, pigs, and all other animals we're eating. To bad. I'm also a meat consumer, but if I had to kiln them with my own hands 'cause there was no supermarket I would not eat meat. I can't take an innocent life of something where it belongs to.
There are a lot of thoughts going through my mind after watching this film, but I am happy with it. It reminds me how we're supposed to live, not by killing others but instead: to love them.
Death. Life. Birth. Future. Present. Past. Love. Hope. Courage. - Cloud Atlas (Better know as life).
