Nothing short of a 10!
28 December 2023
Following all the rules of the Harry Potter saga story books, this movie shows that rules of engagement are only allowed during certain circumstances, and the rule between Albus and the villain, are also right there for your eyes.

To think this any less than a 10, is to make a mistake in having missed the vital parts.

I have never seen a better Harry Potter story. The others come close. This one makes 10. Masterpiece level.

Why were the other ratings less? People did not fully understand the story, they probably did not read the book from this film, and if the first two are not correct guesses, then I am certain of my last being right: They did not watch the movie paying attention to the vital delicate story parts.

What was a missunderstood movie is just under a perfect 10
16 December 2023
This story, based a bit on real life, in our future, when a 'Singularity' will be created where the AI will choose to either migrate with us, or go against us, is not far from the story of this film.

Spoiler free, with a beginning about a love life between a man and his woman, who cares very much from him - this story shows how a common friend, in this case the US Army, can be a terrorism-group when it is sent to kill a group who only wants peace.

Thus begins this story, and its ending leaves little to the imagination. I wouldn't have directed it different myself.

What it lacks from a 10 - masterpiece, compared to close? Well, it could have had more character development. The man who was the main protagonist in this film develops a relationship with a child who has something that will bring all of humanity a peaceful non-war Win-Win solution. But how, and the reason? This could be developed further.

The Nun II (2023)
8/10
After seeing The Nun 1 original from (2018) I was amazed
10 October 2023
Fascinated, is perhaps a better word than amazed at this movie. What the director did in part 1 was only half of the story. The second part shows more about the main demon in the story, and the devil - Satan, in an animal that you already know what he is if you read the Christian Bible. This story, shows, in what I can only say, the best perspective of any movie what the demon was, and what Satan was, and how both of them worked hard together to win against the Church and Nuns. Now this is where it gets very very good: There is romance in this story, although it is not shown in a physical way from a man who you already know from part 1, and 2 women, one little girl who is his best friend, and one woman who perhaps falls in love with him later on. No spoilers here! This creates as we all know the biggest problem for a demon and Satan by love creating a real problem for them. Love is the biggest problem the Devil always knew, remember? Yes. Also, the film shows the 2nd part of what is known about the Devil and Demons: The nr 1 thing that the Devil liked, was that she said "People believe I do not exist." Well, in at least half of the film, the demon is hidden and 'does not exist' to the eyes, except if looked at from the side of the eyes, much like the Christian Bible tells us: He / or she is always there, watching you, stay alert or it will get you.

I want to rate this an 8/10. Very very good, had a few mistakes, but not much to criticize.

People who have ranked this lower than 7 or above do not understand the rules of the Christian Bible, and definitely have not read the book. If you liked Part 1, and this part, Part 2, see The Da Vinci Code and it's 2 other movies / and read the books! Great books!

Enjoy!!

The Nun (2018)

Much like Da Vinci Code, a story based on The Christian Bible
9 October 2023
If you have seen or read the book the Da Vinci Code, you know that it followed many facts from the Christian Bible, some of which have been talked about in history that were removed pages from the Christian Bible. Just like that story, The Nun (2018) follows scriptures and real Latin that make the story very real to me. People who have rated this less than 8/10 probably don't understand the rules of Heaven and Hell from the Bible, and if they know some of them, they would have at least given this an 8, or higher.

If you enjoy Heaven and Hell stories, and if you liked The Da Vinci Code, and the 2nd and 3rd movies from it, you will love The Nun (2018), however, be prepared to become a little bit fearing. I am not afraid of most movies, but this one made me a little bit scared.

Thank you Corin Hardy for creating this movie!!

Careful

I recommend only watching this to drinks. If you don''t or you're not on another substance - Avoid. Some dark humor brought it from zero up to 1 star.. some of the boss at work's gay humor brought it up to 2 stars. The music video at the end gave it 3 stars. That's all.

I cherish all movies I watch with a solid 0-10 honest rating. I recommend you look at my review history to find good movies. Do not spend time on this film unless you're drinking.

Honestly written by, Exsosus.

Nothing short of a 10. Re-watchable for your whole life.
2 July 2021
I have seen this move more than 200 times, and I saw it again this evening in July 2021. When it came on DVD disc in 1997 it was my first movie I put into my computer on DVD and I watched it more than 30 times in that year, among my other movies.

Luc Besson became my favorite director, even more than many other directors, and I continued to e-mail Luc Besson's group of movie company to make new movies. Since then he has created Lucy and now he is working on Lucy 2.

Thank you Luc Besson, for 10-10 movie from the late 90s!

Keep the 10's coming!!

A solid 7 of Sci-fi Mindblowing Adventure!
28 June 2021
As should be expected by a film made wby Harry Bromley Davenport a sci fi film such as this one has many surprises in store for its viewers.

The movie is not what it seems but creates a plot which brings the viewers to realize that not everything is as it seems.

Being a low-budget movie it surpassed the quality of other movies in its class of budget. It was higher than expected in quality.

Enjoy with family with adult supervision.

A Solid Seven
19 June 2021
This movie takes the Lord of The Flies story, if you've read it before in the books / and/or watched the movie and puts the story into space. It has similar story parts of Lord of the Flies however, it has a brand new space vision set about it which raises this from a copy: Meaning a 1 out of 10 rating to a 7 for good quality acting, music, and visioning.

Thank you, Lionsgate, AGC, and Thunder Road (all studios) for making this movie.

It's Till death spelled with one 'L' in Till
13 May 2021
Why is there only one L in Till death do us apart title?

The correct title is spelled: Til Death Do Us Apart. The answer is in the coded title.

If you have difficulty figuring it out, welcome to ask, I am sure you can figure it out, however, without asking me.

The best season finale I have seen in any TV series so far. Amazing.

Its an 11 star. IMDB doesn't have that number, but we forgive IMDB
5 February 2021
I was forced to write an interview by my family that this movie made 11. The ending with the wedding scenes made that number. It was a 10 up until then. See part 1 first and then part 2 and you will be blown away.

A perfect 10

Rarely does a movie recieve a 10 by me, but I watched this with my girlfriend, and son and we were blown away. Its rare a film has all three rules of a 10/10 combined well within it: Love story, Plot, and lastly but most important, quality ending.

Robin Hood (2018)
An excellent first part of the trilogy
3 November 2019
This was the beginning story. The first one of three. It has a slow start, as any quality trilogy movie pack does, and the performances of all characters are top notch. What comes to me as a bit frustrating is that so many people think that this movie is the only one that is being released.

Hope you'll enjoy all three films as much as I can feel I will once they're released.

Taken 3 (2014)

This is not a 'Taken' story
9 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The director either rushed this, or he did not focus on the theme. The meaning of Taken according to books about this film series, and the series themselves movies 1 and 2 means that a person or person(s) are kidnapped for trafficking. In this film, a business deal goes awry and causes an organized group of hitmen whom are ex-military to attack the family of the main character in the storyline.

The plot of Taken 3, brings this rating up from 3 to 5 stars in that it had a very realistic story which could actually happen today if things go awry with a business deal effecting mercenaries from an ex military group, Russian Spetsnaz.

Therefore I would like to give this a 5 out of 10 stars, and think it should have been named a title based on criminality in money transactions. This was a Spetsnaz movie, and not a trafficking taken movie.

Where is 11 stars?
29 September 2019
That's right. You read the title correctly.

If you read the book, which has even more details you will understand the movie well. The director intended us to read the book too, so be sure to do that. Harry-Gregson Willams the composer to the Star Wars music, made the music to this title bringing up to the quality of the book, because music is half of what makes a movie a 10.

So since I could not rate it 11, it recieves a 10.

A perfect 10
19 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
After reading hundreds of reviews on this title here on IMDB, family asked me to write a brief review. Beginning with what must be my favorite intro song to any movie, in the world, and ending with an unexpected rise-from-the-dead of our villain...twisting the ending until your heart beats from that joyous adrenline rush that is forming in your chest that you only feel in 1 out of every 100 movies you see....

This bond is on my short list of 10/10 Bond movies in that it is anything other than than predictable. Having read hundreds of reviews on here, it is anything but that. Such sore, dissapointing reviews for individuals rating this lower than an 8. It adds a sense of acknowledgement for the viewers that what you see if a good system being brought into motion at the MI6 headquarterts London to be upgraded to a high tech CSN instead (a surveillance network) which then becomes something unexpected. 'L'Amercian' is a term that comes from the h'spanic and french meaning for: 'The American' which makes your mind focus on a certain indvidual man / woman / or trans, but this may very well not be a person at all. The list goes on. When I sat down with family going through our list of 'unpredictabilities' a term we coined up and invented for good movies, we hit just over 30 different things that you would not expect in this film.

Bringing us something else that stood out, I want to open your eyes to if you look hard enough, you will notice that in this Bond film there was minimal use of technology. You had a standard cell phone (not smartphone) that M uses, you had a GPS system in the body that was shut down not to be used anymore, there was little technology aside from Bond's own secret watch. Hell, even the gun was mechanical. I am used to the James Bond guns these days having fingerprint identification, something that is coming to our real world of handguns. This one, intentionally had a standard issue gun. Low tech 90's model, and beautiful because it worked perfect.

There's my 10 minute writing for a review that deserved an hour. Now I must continue with dinner. This title deserved an Oscar's award. Hold on... I just checked, it received 2 rewards in the 2016 Oscar's.

Thank you Ian Flemming, we love you for trying something new.

Most Bond films are predictable. This one is anything but.

The "Perfect" Crime/drama Movie of the Century
1 August 2019
Tom Tykwer, like so many of his other film works, puts this movie in the viewer's perspective, not the directors. He arranges so that when you watch this film you will become a part of it, and not stand beside like so many blockbuster hits today.

This should be viewed as a movie based on a true story, as government and Please fill in the blank to keep this spoiler-free after you watch it - _____ -corruption exist today above the law in real life and this reminds us of the truth. We can see this in our history from Watergate, to The Twin Towers in NYC that were planned according to conspiracy theories today, and here we see now, what Tom Tykwer wanted to show us, a fiction based on real life where perhaps it is a bank to blame.

We will not forget that sometimes there is corruption. Some businesses believe they are above the law. This is what I will teach my children, this is what my children will teach theirs after I am passed away.

Not quite, but nearly 10
19 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Didn't hit 10, and I will tell you why. With slight spoilers here you go:

There are missing parts of this movie which are vital to understand the story more. For example, the survival of Kaleb is not mentioned, therefore you may as a watcher believe he dies, when infact that was not intentended. If you think about what his situation is you'll figure out how he survives. But this takes 2-3 times of watching to realize the facts.

Secondly, the background of the owner (The main programmer, origin: Seems arabic man) is not explained. We know Kaleb's backround basic from working for a programming company, without a girlfriend or close family. We do not know the arabic man at all. Period.

If these two points above had been made known clearly for us, as well as some more parts this would have recieved a 10.

This is a solid 9! Good job! I would have created a 10 had I been director in another.... AI life. Pun... intended.

Hope you liked my review.

Nothing short of a 10 for a documentary
8 June 2019
Hands down the best documentary-based story I have watched based on true histroy in all my life.

What I started watching that I thought was a fiction series, and after verifying a lot of facts online, I have discovered that this is a documentary. The best of its kind. Historical documentaries never entertained me. This one does.

Two words: See it. Even if you do not like documentaries, you will after this!

Underrated even in the year 2019
17 May 2019
Sometimes IMDB group rating is wrong. And that is OK. I have learned my life that being wrong teachs me lessons in life.

However, in this film, my girl whispered to me that it was perfect, and I have to admit I agree. I have also spoken to many many friends and family members about this film and they all call it a ten.

So there you have it. Sorry the critics couldn't do their job well enough for us on this title. Even they make mistakes, from time to time. Its OK to be wrong.

Be sure to enjoy this with a glass of wine, or tea if that is your choice because it is so intense I nearly recieved a heart attack twice.

Forget the negative ratings on this film. This was a personal 10 and for my girlfriend too, a 10. Something you rarely see in a horror flick today. This is a horror-comedy movie. Very funny, and will scare you well. It puts 2019-2010 films of horror to shame minus the Night Shalyman films and Jeepers Creepers trilogy which are excellent.

So check this movie out, and I hope you get the same feeling of 'That perfect horror flick' which we got.

Enjoy

Like a true scary story
25 November 2018
Based upon what feels like a true story, this film combines humor with violence to create a scary and uncomfortable feel for its viewers. It is a much higher quality film than your average 'horror' movie today, and even shoes how the evil in it came to be, and where it came from including some history about it.

The best thing about this story is that it is full circle, something we don't see often in movies today.

I write this short review spoiler-free so you may enjoy this movie as much as myself and my girlfriend did. We rate this 8/10.

Better than 'Decent film' or 'Good Film'
25 November 2018
This film hit a solid 9.0 with myself and my girlfriend watching it. This coud very well be the most intense movie in the world if you are watching from Novebmer month 2018 or earlier. Even Training Day was a more relaxed movie than this. This film recommends: Wine / beer to keep you focused as it is so intense that when watch wtihout alcohol the fact is you may have to walk away from the movie and take a break to come back to finish it.

It makes war movies look like childhood films and family enjoyable. Please do not let you children watch this without you.

It is the most intense move, possibly, in the world.

Sincerely, Two movie entusiats, Michael & Gisellle.

Nearly Flawless
22 November 2018
Putting all the pieces in place of the last 4 films, this final chapter makes the viewers realize how history can be changed by traveling back in time.

A masterpiece in its making by the director. It is rare that we see a movie rated 9.0 or higher by the IMDB users, but this was one that my girlfriend rated 9.5 and I rated 8.5 so we will give it a 9.0.

It is not without its flaws, but compared to Terminator 1 and 2 in the early days, it has far fewer flaws than both of them combined. T5 is nearly perfect.

Thank you for one of the best movies we have ever seen.

We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

21 November 2018
This reached a 10-star rating for us watching it because we believe that it shows an example of the many possibilities of reaching higher cerebral abilities of our human minds.

We believe that this was a good example of what could come, from theoretical knowledge of what is already known today if we reach higher capacity.

We hope that you enjoy this as much as we did.

A truly awe-inspiring film, nearly a Masterpiece
7 October 2018
Nearly making a level 10 for me, which is considered Masterpiece, this rating became a solid 9.0.

When the film doesn't have you wondering what will happen next, because you think you know what will happen, it will twist your thinking when you realize later somethihng was happening in the background which wasn't shown in the first place. You may wonder... why did something happen which didn't make sense? Well, it does later. Everything becomes a closed comfortable reason. What Oceans 11, 12, 13 lacked in realism, this movie became #1 in the being the most realistic of the 4 films. Every part of this film is considered realistic where the only negative perspective I had with my family was that Rhianna dressed in her red dress would have had everyone in real life saying "My God, its Rihanna!" but in this story she is not Rihanna she is a fictional character who has a different name, so in the end even that part was corrected by me being as realistic as the rest of the movie presents to you.

Enjoy. I know that you will.
