Physical (2021)
Four episodes in and it's looks like a winner
Guessing a lot of the negative reviews are based on the premier episode which is very dark and not very funny......but don't be fooled. This is a laugh out loud comedy filled with hilarious characters
Oh, and Rose Byrne is fantastic.
The Pharmacist (2020)
Shocking tale of a pharmacist who loses a son to drug addiction, quest to find his murderer, and subsequent fight to stop the sudden opioid crisis taking over his hometown
Shocking tale of a pharmacist who loses a son to drug addiction, quest to find his murderer, and subsequent fight to stop the sudden opioid crisis taking over his hometown. Made even better by a charismatic and eccentric protagonist, with unbelievable conviction to pursue what other perceive as an unhealthy obsession related to his son's death. I only wish it were longer!
The Nazis: A Warning from History (1997)
Excellent Documentary
Panik65's review is spot on. Very surprising to see how incompetent Hitler actually functioned behind the scenes, spending most of his time sleeping, watching movies and daydreaming about grondoise architectural plans. One of a few solid documentaries I've seen that supports the idea that early Nazi success was due to an unbelievable streak of luck, rather than smart planning or strategic thinking. Ultimately, Hitler's Germany came crashing down due to his complete inability to distinguish fantasy from reality, which only becomes apparent to those around him once forced to face the formidable military opposition he clumsily dragged into the war.
