Arthur the King (2024)
Heartwarming, old fashioned, family friendly movie.
Loosely based on a true story about a dog, and his partner Mikael Lindnord.
In his book which I read the real story was different in some ways, but not as polished as the Hollywood standarts. And I advise the viewers to give the book a chance. You'll thank me later.
Acting is good, and I must admit that I had low hopes for the movie, and it surprised me with it's "good old days" vibes from 80s-90s era's family movies.
It is a movie for families, and children. And it is a love letter to Arthur who passed away in 2020 after living 6 years with his family in Sweden.
Thank you Arthur, and all Arthurs who make our lives better.
Imaginary (2024)
Not as bad as the reviews say, but as bad as it goes.
First of all, if you're making horror movie, there are some things that have to be in a horror movie.
This has some...
More importantly, if you're making a movie, there are some things that have to be in a movie.
This has even less...
I appreciate the kindness of the movie about being inspired by Elm Street movies, like the address seen on the letters and such, but unfortunately that inspiration did not influence the movie.
Acting is decent especially the little girl is very good I must say, but that acting parts all come down to a halt after the first half.
It is a slow pace movie and it has some meh moments. Maybe a choice watching with your friends, but not for a horror buff.
