Fate: The Winx Saga (2021–2022)

While I enjoyed certain aspects of the show, my issue wasn't with the differences in the story from the original show, because that's expected, it was the lack of fleshed out storyline, basic stereotypes of character types, the toxic relationship with her mother not being addressed, the blatant biphobia not being addressed, the fatphobia not being addressed, and the obvious whitewashing of original characters from the original cartoon. Some people really like the show and I think that's great, and this isn't me telling others not to watch it, but these are my opinions and issues with the show. It really could have been a good remake that nobody asked for, but with all of the problematic writing, it's just not for me.

Nancy Drew (2019– )

stop comparing it to the book

It's an adaptation. the writers took the bones of something and made it their own. i understand being frustrated that it's not the book version of nancy, but first, it's a cw show. second, the ads didn't give the impression she was. three, people need to stop being sexphobic and judgmental. i read some insane reviews on here, some not even relevant to the show and still bashing it. it's not for everyone, not everyone will be pleased, but of course it will be "bad" to some of you go in expecting something else. all these negative reviews are mostly because people were expecting it to be a direct line to the books, but again it's a TEEN DRAMA SHOW so stop crying that it's a TEEN DRAMA SHOW. some people really enjoy the show, like myself, and would be extremely disappointed if it got canceled because everyone was such a sore loser.

the show has its flaws, but what show doesn't. it's a mystery, horror, thriller, fantasy, drama show...of course it's not real. it's just a tv show guys, watch it or don't, but let those who enjoy it do so.

200 Degrees (2017)

Only worth it if you're a fan of Eric Balfour

Everything about this movie was bad except for Eric Balfour. His acting was the only good and bearable acting. Even the voice overs were painful. I get that this was a low budget, small project but it could have been better. The premise of the story was interesting and good. This twist was nice also. Had a very "Saw" feel to it throughout the whole film.

White Gold (2017–2019)

Season one is absolutely fantastic but you can tell a difference in season 2. It has a different feel to it.

The Shannara Chronicles (2016–2017)

Great Syfy drama from MTV

Great show! Really draws you in and interests you. Especially love the opening sequence. Actors are great and the storyline is well written. A good drama from MTV. The chemistry between the characters is very obvious and Inalso liked how the show immediately started with action. I like when shows and movies just throw the audience into the middle of things and then you learn things about the characters as they learn them, like you're experiencing it with them. It gives a sense of mystery and keeps your interest. The graphics are also really good and the scenery is breathtaking. I also enjoy the music. I hope this show lasts and continues for more seasons. It would be disappointing to see it not make it.
