Its definitely low budget. There are plot holes and some of the acting is lackluster. It still has a certain charm to it and you feel bad for the robot after a while. I actually watched it a second time which I don't do very often and would not be opposed to watching it again at some point if I was just in the mood for something to watch that I don't need to be over invested in. Its better that 95% of the low budget, small team movies that come out. No real surprises but there is a massive shift in tone that just smacks you out of nowhere. Plenty of flaws to nitpick but still somehow enjoyable.
