Took a while to figure out (sort of) what was going on, who was who-good guys and bad guy. Nope. Not gangsters but an elaborate sting to catch a boy's killer. I was on high alert throughout watching for how they reeled him in. It was complicated; you can't multi-task during this movie. The performances were excellent, with subtly-portrayed deep, painful, hard emotions on compelling faces. Mise en scene was perfect from locations to set dressing This movie has left my heart racing with its perfection and its suspense. Standout scenes: Undercover cop crying near the end. Repetition of murderer's flamingo posture. Awesome movie.

I took a chance on this one and what a reward. The story fascinated me. But also, the actors' faces were shot so that lighting enhanced their features and wrinkles-and eyes. Except for Marie, whose face was white and smooth. What a contrast. These actors, these faces, the true story all combine for an unforgettable movie.

Friends turned me on to this show via on-demand TV and we watched four episodes. It is a real find. Rebel has it all over Molly McCarthy in MIKE AND MOLLY (except Molly was superb in HEAT). Her character and her roommates all seem real with just the right touch of hyperbole. I love that Rebel's character is highly-accomplished yet neurotic. And she is just up front with body issues that one can relate to no matter one's weight. The three geek neighbors are a little overdone, but still funny. Well, there is nothing about this show I don't like. It is NOT the predictable sitcom fare. This is up there in quality with BIG BANG THEORY, GROUNDED FOR LIFE, FRANK'S PLACE, to name just a few. I hope it stays on the air.
