I read the book many years ago and enjoyed it. A few years ago I learned via Indian Country Today that it was being made into the movie. I waited patiently for its release. The wait was worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed the film.
The story is powerful and one we need to hear. We need to see the pain but the joy in the little things. The beauty and brutality of humanity.
The film is beautiful from a cinematic perspective, great cast and a well written story that kept my attention through out the film. Thank you for releasing this film!
