Memento Mori (1999)
9/10
It's OK to love a person, but not too much.
2 December 2005
Ever since the released of Ringu, many Asian horror movies competing to give a scary but nifty horror films. But nowadays Korea gave us more nifty horror films than Japan but Korea don't have a "classic" style that Japan have. Because most of Korean movies looks so fresh and it's a bit tired to look.

But what we want on a movie if it give us a good story. Memento Mori is one of that movies. I just bought only a VCD of it and I've never disappointed on it. Even it falls at some point it still one of the best movie I've ever seen.

What I like on the are: the story, of course. They done it very concrete and unique. As if you were reading a novel, really. Second, the cinematography. It's very stylish. Third, the soundtrack. It's the most beautiful music I've ever heard, it really touch my heart. And last the performance. It's very natural acting and at some point I really felt the actors acting. My problem about Memento Mori is that you like a great revelation on the end of the movie, you like more depth. You know, at some point, the movie makes me laugh... and it's not bad to love a person but not too much.

Well, I really recommend this film because it's a very unique and stylish movie. It scares you, it touch your heart at the same time it makes you laugh. It was one of a kind movie!

good movie, bad acting of Kou Shibasaki!
3 October 2005
Warning: Spoilers
I think it well "constructed" movie and a really well made horror movie. But the bad thing in the movie is Kou Shibasaki's performance. Especially on the scene where she was on the abandoned hospital, it really suck! See it for yourself! But I still adore her and I really like her on the last scene where she smile in the camera! And I thought it has some elements from Ring and JU-ON. But the story is kinda original and it has lots of big jumps. And of course, the sound track, I really really like it, it's cool! I really like the end scene because it baffles you what happened like I did. If you're a fan of horror films, you'll definitely like One Missed Call!

a simple and good movie with a brilliant acting!
5 July 2005
I bought Wishing Stairs last week and I've got to say that I loved the movie. It has a simple movie with a great things within it. First, the story, it was a good story about two best friend who broke up because of envy. Second, I liked how they make this movie, it was like an "ordinary" life like what's happening on you're school days. When I watched this movie I remember my elementary school days, I don't know why? Last, I REALLY loved An Jo here who played as Hae-Jun! I loved her acting, her face especially when her hair turns black, everything I loved her in this movie! She also make me laugh! This was a movie I will never forget!

All About Eve (2000)

Warning: Spoilers
All About Eve was one of the BEST Korean TV series ever! Here in the Philipines,it was one of the top TV series! I loved the chemistry and most of all the acting! I'm SO in loved with So-Yeon Kim! She looks like Yum Jeong-A who was also in the movie "A Tale of Two Sisters". I think the top Korean TV series here was "Full House" I think because it was FUNNY yet TOUCHING! I think Young Mi-Huh was very ambitious woman, a woman who will not stop until he gets what she wants! But I think at the end Ihope she will be a good woman. Here in the Philippines it will be end next week. But I hope they featured it again. I REALLY REALLY loved that Korean TV series.
